      @@dylanmmc so despite being a frequent viewer of coaster CZcams I’m actually a huge wimp. I get scared every time I go on a new ride. I was playing up my fear for Cosmic Rewind for my friend’s amusement and the person behind me in line said “You’ll be fine. Disney didn’t spend $500 million to build a ride that isn’t fun.”
      Truer words have never been spoken.

    I'm surprised Efteling's Vogel Rok wasn't on the list! It's a short but highly addictive enclosed Vekoma that rides glass smooth and has some surprising force and (as usual for Efteling) an incredible onboard soundtrack. Also if we're counting defunct coasters the legendary Black Hole that resided at Alton Towers was a must do. Simply a Schwarzkopf Jet Star II whacked into a pitch black tent, but man it made for an insane ride experience when you had no idea where you were going

    Another great indoor coaster is the new fire in the hole. It may have very minimal forces and be slow, but the theming and onboard audio are fantastic. I'll check it out when i visit sdc for the first time sometime this summer.

    Fun fact: rock ‘n’ roll, roller coaster was actually the very first upside down roller coaster. I ever rode on. I was afraid to go on upside down roller coasters for years until my cousin convinced me to go on that ride. I was so afraid to go on that ride, but I breeze through it, and I fell in love with roller coasters ever since, so yeah, rock ‘n’ roll roller coaster has a special place in my heart as the first upside down roller coaster ever rode

    I’m one of the only people crazy enough to put DarKoaster at Busch Gardens on this list. Imo, it gets unfairly dunked on by enthusiasts expecting a more intense ride, when it’s supposed to be a bridge between Grover’s and Verbolten/InvadR, both of which are pretty aggressive for family coasters. Also the straddle seating is a massive plus and makes the ride for me

    Being French, Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris was my first rollercoaster and made me fall in love with coasters. Since then, I’ve ridden other Space Mountain from different Disneyland parks but none compare to the inclined launch, high speed and the 3 inversions of Space Mountain in Paris. So if you get the opportunity to ride it I highly recommend it ! 😉

    Note that when Space Fantasy is running a VR theme, capacity is halved because they lock the cars so they don't spin and only use the forward facing seats. So the posted wait time will frequently reach 4+ hours. And of course you can't see any of the space theming because you're in VR.

    GOTG Cosmic Rewind is just incredible, one of the most fun coaster experiences of my life. Glad it's #1! Only thing I'd add is that I've done Space Mountain in both MK and in Paris, and even though the Paris one has better stats, I actually preferred the Florida ride. Something about being in a long coaster train with inversions, you can sort of feel where you're headed even in the dark - but those tight little single-row MK trains feel more out of control, even with smaller drops and no inversions. Just my two cents!

    Flight of Fear is #1. Not just enclosed, but #1 for all coasters. 😝

    No Mission Ferrari, Crazy Bats, Vogel Rok, Uncharted, or Fire in the Hole? Maybe Lost Coaster if it counts? Also, the crazy Hollenblitz could be on here. Otherwise great list

      @AirtimeThrills  Před 4 měsíci

      Mission Ferrari I put on the indoor coasters list, but it's kind of both. I wouldn't count Lost Coaster as enclosed. As for Fire in the Hole, I'd like to ride it to see how much better it is now. That's where it gets tricky - thrills vs theming and what to value on a list like this.

  • @bjornvandenbremt1717

    Great video, but missing Winja's Fear & Force on the list. Both are better than Laff Track and a couple of others on this list.
    Also, if you wanted to pick a Belgium indoor coaster; you should've picked Revolution at Bobbejaanland. That coaster is unique, not another version of it in the world and it holds the record for longest train in the world.
    IMO Mission Ferrari at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi also should've made this list, instead of Studio Tour at MPG.

    I rode Laff Trak this past Halloween, and they had all the lights and effects off. Total pitch blackness, and very disorienting on a spinner. Several experienced enthusiasts got off reporting feeling nauseous.

    It is such a shame they remade Space Mountain (Paris) into Hyperspace Mountain. It was such a cool theme, the whole Jules Verne-thing, woth the story of being launched to the moon, the whole cyberpunk-aesthetic... Now they just slapped on some posters of tie fighters, hung up a few banners and called it Star Wars-themed. Everything cool about the ride: down the drain. I rode it 2 months ago, and it was suich a letdown. The launch is still good, but I absolutely hate what they've done to it. Also, it's way too dark in there. Don't mind enclosed roller coasters, but riding them in pitch black just doesn't cut it for me. As you can't see where you're going you can't brace yourself, so you'll be headbanging all the way into the brake run. Atmospheric lighting and theming is awesome, just switching the lights off and adding 2 lasers and a tv-screen doesn't make a ride better in my opinion.

And my number one is some janky pothole Zamperla ThunderBolt.. Whatever. Last time I was at Disney, I wasn't an enthusiast. So who cares?
