It is believed that the masters degree will help you prepare for professional exams like CPA or CFA for commerce students, but we can prepare it on our own with the pg diploma in similar field, if the end goal is to be a CFA or a CPA. This would be cost friendly of course and why one would spend 40 -50 lakhs for a masters degree? They both will end up at the same stage. What are your views in this? no one does it after pgdm, you might tell yourself that, but when you already pay so much for pgdm, you rather go ahead with whatever job you get, since opportunity cost is very high

Alberta has more petrochemical related jobs. Ontario has OINP Master Graduates stream for PR. You should look into it.
