To be honest, I did not see Sargon visiting Sacred texts website. I know it makes a lot of sense, as they have a great many religious texts from many different cultures, however it always will remind me of times I went there in my "angsty teenage rebel" days to learn some "magick", to cast fireballs.

What exactly is a 'shibbu' and what is meant by 'a rampant'?
In Akkadian, shibbu translates to serpent. I'm not exactly sure what is meant by rampant but it could be a symbol for chaos and disorder.

I was really into this poem a couple of years ago.
From what I've found that the 'rampant' might be understood as treason/riot/mutiny.
As for 'Shibbu' it is said to be some kind of weapon.
I am amateur weapon historian for booth modern ordnance, medieval and ancient and I've never came across such weapon, but I have a theory that it can be a name of a weapon rather than it's type, just like 'Excalibur'

P.P.S. If you are into classical music please check out 'Seven they are seven' by Sergiei Prokofiev. It is one of my favorite piece of music that has been ever created.
Also there is also a song called 'Coven in Charring Cross' by the band 'Coven' and it contains an interpretation of the 'Charm against seven evil Gods'. It is a jazz/rock band and they are heavy into satanism if it is not a problem for you you can also check them out. Even through I do not condone their view (ironically considering my nick :D ) I really enjoy their music.

I may have gotten the quote a little mixed up, but its funny how that crops up. Destroying the family unit or the very concept of family, & universal freedom, is a cornerstone to evil in the world. And the is a constant, apparently, true then & true now.
So while the notions of the beyond or the spiritual world don't really concern me too much, the real world effects of destabilising one's home & the basis for freedom are measurably detrimental to the cohesion of society at large.
Of course, that's where I stop with measuring things objectively & feel the strong temptation to behead people who support dumb ideas that commit this very obvious ingredient of social discord all the way into government law-making or college environments. Traitors to the species, whether they know it or not.
