I've had my S8 for 2 years and no cracks or nicks, dents or faliures yet. So these results were surprising to me. Cant argue against the robot though that was a fair test.

Billy Bob This proves that these tests are more just for fun than proving anything. There are far too many variables that go into dropping these phones that cannot be controlled and accounted for.
It's not that the iPhone 8 necessarily has stronger glass, but since it has a flat piece of glass, it is, by nature, more durable than a curved glass like on the Galaxy S8. When the iPhone 8 hit the floor on the corners, it's actually hitting the aluminium bezel, while it's hitting the glass on the Galaxy S8.

Im not Samsung fan, but the fact that GS8 makes some spinning after impact tells that it falls with little rotation causing glass damage in the place of impact. Not fair drop test

- iPhone 8 didn't survive 8 falls last time and cracked immediately with the first fall front&back.
- It has the same "strongest" glass.
- It is much smaller than S8 (4.7" vs 5.8") and that is the only thing that saves it here (along with no curvature)
