Icing could be "significant" north of Charlotte: Brad Panovich explains

- The ice storm will be significant along and north of I-40 in North Carolina Thursday morning, WCNC Charlotte chief meteorologist Brad Panovich forecasts. Closer to Charlotte, ice could produce problems in the northern half of Mecklenburg County.
Across the region, icy roads could make travel problematic between 6am-12pm Thursday. Icing could cause power outages and heating outages.
