@fireresponsetv .... the good people of Crewe and Cheshire are spoilt! My brigade, just over the border from here, no longer has any two wholetime pump stations. Newcastle, Hanley, Stafford, and Burton's second pump have all been demoted to RDS. With both Burton and Newcastle having their third pump removed altogether. Over the past decade or so, Staffordshire has lost eight main frontline pumps.
