- Hello, everyone!
welcome back to saf's glam beauty .
In this video, I'm going to be teaching you how to make an emulsified exfoliating sugar scrub
An emulsified body scrub is a type of skincare
product that combines exfoliation and moisturization. It typically contains abrasive particles or granules, such as sugar, salt, coffee grounds, or crushed nuts, which help remove dead skin cells and promote smoother skin. The emulsification aspect refers to the incorporation of oils and water-based ingredients, allowing the scrub to transform into a creamy consistency when mixed with water.
The emulsified nature of the scrub offers several benefits. Firstly, it makes the product easier to apply and spread over the skin, ensuring even exfoliation. Secondly, the emulsification helps to bind together the exfoliating particles, preventing them from separating or settling at the bottom of the container. This ensures consistent scrubbing performance with every use.
Additionally, emulsified body scrubs often contain moisturizing ingredients, such as oils, butters, or emollients. These ingredients help nourish and hydrate the skin, leaving it soft, smooth, and moisturized after exfoliation. The combination of exfoliation and moisturization makes emulsified body scrubs a popular choice for those looking to achieve a renewed and rejuvenated appearance.
It's important to note that different brands and products may have variations in their specific ingredients and formulation, so it's always a good idea to check the product label or description to understand the particular benefits and usage instructions for a specific emulsified body scrub.

Thank you for your question! Yes, water is an important component in the water phase when working with glycerin. It helps to achieve the desired results and maintain the right balance in the mixture.

Thank you for trying out the recipe! I'm sorry it didn't turn out as expected. Cooking can be finicky sometimes. I appreciate your feedback and I'll look into the recipe to see if there's anything that needs to be adjusted.
She's a business owner. She's not going to give away everything.
@safsglambeauty Maybe the water amt in the water phase is missing? No, there's no water in the recipe on the box, probably that's why yours is too solid?
