      Maybe, But I don't know that I'll forget before I'm dead. I remember almost everyone that I admire who has passed in my lifetime. I think in 40 years I might look back or tell the grand-kids about a pitcher that died wayyy too young and had an amazing talent. Who had a ceiling as high as he wanted. About a pitcher who might have gone on to win 300 games and and be top 5 in strikeouts... I might remember what might have been. The main reason I say that is, beside the fact I'm a huge baseball fan, but because All-Star talent, potential greats, and 24 year old's in sports don't die often, its not a common occurrence. Plus the fact that I knew his back story. About how he came to the US, and how much he sacrificed to get here and how hard it was. Its a very unique thing. Thats the reason why I say he might just not be forgotten... RIP JF#16

It’s not viewed as a disrespect, instead they do it to show their love for the game and how appreciative they are to get the chance to play everyday. Only in stupid fucking America do we have to ruin everything thing fun about the game and make it into a white man sport. Then everyone wonders why no one gives a fuck about baseball in the USA. It’s a no fun allowed sport. Bat flip . Beamed. Watching your homer. Beamed. Trotting the bases too slow. Beamed. Looking at the pitcher after a homer. Beamed. @RedneckMD Před 5 lety +17

      @Blake Herman Please explain the difference. I have always thought that somebody admiring their own home run or flipping a bat to be the most ridiculous things to get all bent out of shape over in any sport.

      Lol well you need to watch the basketball so you can go for the rebound if you or your teammates miss. And it's not always sure the baseball is a home run and you are usually taught to dig it out till it is confirmed so that if it isn't you get a double or triple. But I don't care if they watch. Pitchers get mouthy as well and do all that staring.

    • @RedneckMD
      @RedneckMD Před 4 lety +6

      @Blake Herman What do you mean they're different sports? Isn't the object of every sport to get a home run? In any sport, excessive celebration is frowned upon, but I hardly see how watching your home run for 5 seconds or flipping a bat is anywhere approaching excessive. If anything, I would be happy if someone stood there and watched what they thought was a homerun and turned out to hit off the top of the wall, because then they only get a single instead of a double or triple. I just don't understand the mentality of getting so offended that someone watches their long ball for a few seconds or flips their bat toward the dugout. I could understand if they flipped their bat in the direction of the pitcher or they do some excessive dance the entire way around the bases, but to get in somebody's face and start a fight for watching the ball go out for 5 seconds or flipping a bat is just the most petty and butthurt thing I can think of in any pro sport.

Both times Brian was telling them to run, and not act like a baby.Brian had had enough of Carlos' mouth and stopped him at home. In this one Brian just walked over to him calmly and told him not to do that. Then Chris johnson ran in and that's what cleared the benches. Then again Chris only came in cause he was annoyed with Jose spit at him after watching the home run,

    I remember watching a game where Jose was pitching and Freddie Freeman on the Braves team was having a great game against him and all Jose did was give him all the credit for his accomplishments while he was on the pitching mound. He just admired the game in general. He didn't deserve the treatment he got in this video because this is the way that a 20 year old behaves for the most part. Even though I am a Braves fan, I enjoyed watching this guy play and no telling how great this player would be now if he was given the chance. He was good for baseball.

    Nothing wrong with this at all. Fernandez just hit his first homerun of his career and watches it a little bit. HES A PITCHER, not a hitter, homeruns dont come around very often. Even as he is face to face with McCann there isnt any rising conflict. The only reason this was even an issue was because 3B is a hot head and made things escalate. Even after the benches clear, Fernandez walks toward the dugout and doesnt confront with anyone. An appropriate and mature thing to do. If you want to see immaturity watch Jose Bautista or Carlos Gomez. This was not immature as the announcers said. Ultimately what it comes down to is "Dont get mad, get better".
