and this is why instruments are so expensive. So much work and care goes into crafting a fine instrument! fascinating video.
Thanks. Yes even the smallest instrument, requires a lot of work.
Actually, a lot of instruments similar to this are very inexpensive, surprisingly. But so much work goes into making them!
This is one of those instruments that teleport you to an entirely new place when you hear it.
I'm so happy that little jingle you used to have is gone, just the sounds of (sped up) tools at work is all we need!
wow i absolutely love the sound of this instrument.

Could you ever imagine this organ was made in jail when bouzouki was forbitten by the law as an instrument "you could go to jail for playing that or bouzouki or baglama " and it is so small, to be able to hide it very easy from policements. Now, - thank god - neither bouzouki nor baglama is forbitten.
Love, love, love this!!! Beautiful instrument! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you
Beautiful instrument! Love it! 🤘
Thanks Heath glad you liked it
very beautiful :) we use thin fishing lines to make the frets instead of metal you can try that..
Thank you. Yes, I would like to do so in a future instrument build!
υπεροχος λιτος και απεριτος μπαγλαμας και μαλιστα φτιαγμενος απο ενα κομματι ξυλο, συγχαρητηρια !
Ευχαριστώ αδερφε
That looked like a lot of work! Great job mate, every instrument get's better and better. You're finding your niche
Thanks, instruments are always complicated builds, even a small one like this one. Very glad you liked it my friend
that's true, I experienced it making my "gaulish" lyre (my first DIY instrument ever)

a few things to tell: bağlama is mostly used in turkish music while greek version is bouzaki, i liked its sound also but they have different timbre and tone at play.

Thank you
I loved this channel you are brilliant...👌👌👌👌
Nice Job..👍👍👍👍
thank you
Nice work! Great video. Sounds amazing.
Love how you glued everything back together for a better working surface to get better angles. Also love that wooden hand ... band sander.. No idea what you'd call it. :D
Thanks, yes that sander worked really well
just, wow!
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you
You might not see this, but for my own builds I was wondering: what do you use for your fret markers? I know that it's common for you to use a soldering iron to mark the sides, but for the top of the fretboard, so you just use wood dowels and a flat saw?
You can use wood dowels. I used a plastic dowel in this one!
Hi there from Portugal,
Nice :D
Did you use Portuguese Bahco Files and/or Rasps?
Obrigado(Thanks)
Yes, I really like Bahco's rasps, they work great! Thanks
