Technical Parameters for CT: CT Physics!

The technical dose parameters in computed tomography (CT) scanning are covered.
The general relationship for the dose goes like CT_Dose ~ kVp^(2.5-3.1)*mA*s/pitch .
We discuss the impact of each of the factor including the kVp, mA, time (s), and the pitch and the concept of effective_mAs which is proportional to the dose and is used as an input value on some CT scanners.
We also solve for some basic problems like adjusting the rotation time or the pitch.
