He had great fake FGs at Oklahoma state too. He also faked us out when he said he wasn’t leaving for LSU lol. But it worked out good for him and OSU in the end. I was always glad to see him win.
If you look at the stadium scoreboard they got it off just a half second before it went to zero and the TV gameclock isn’t right as it’s always a second or so off from the actual live game
It's close enough that they would never call it. Don't look at the TV graphic...look at the stadium clock. The more obvious call is when #24 commits blatant Offensive Pass Interference on two guys.
@@blwood23 the kicker moving forward before the snap. Happened a couple times in the video if you watch close. Dunno if its a false start or considered an illegal motion
Probably the one thing that actually ruins games because we run it... *Cough* faking a punt on 4th and 11 with fields VS ALABAMA, and run it.... sigh. Meh, I'm happy to see we get an easy bowl game.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think with today's rules about players having to be in the huddle to be eligible, wouldn't the Georgia Tech one be ruled illegal now since he was "running off the field" so the field goal team could come on?
Best fake field goal of all time was the Broncos in 1977 throwing to their 36 yr old kicker Jim Turner, who wore old fashioned black high top football shoes.
@@abcdefghijk890989098 Its doesn't matter. Get a quick trigger finger so you can quickly pause the video during the 0:51 moment. You'll see the stadium clock clearly says 0 and the ball hasn't been snapped. Either way, there was a penalty. Delay of game or holding/PI. The game winning TD shouldn't have counted on that play.
@@GoBlue576966 The rule isn't that it's a penalty when it hits 0, it's a penalty if the official sees it hit 0 and then sees the team hasn't snapped the ball yet. This happens all of the time in nfl and cfb
That last one was a little sketchy to tell. It looks like he crossed the endzone with the ball and temporarily had control, but then it quickly got knocked out. What do you guys think?
He caught the ball, took several steps, the ball crossed the plane of the end zone, and then the ball was knocked loose. He already had control when the ball crossed the goal line, so that's a touchdown. If he was attempting to make the catch in the end zone, it could have been ruled incomplete. He had control of the ball at the 2, so then he becomes a runner and is no longer a receiver.
MSU ND game fake FG had an expired play clock before snap. Should not have counted and been delay of game penalty. Not a fan of either team but I call it as I see it...
Could be an amendment to the college rule that once you have possession of the ball and your knee(s) are in contact with the ground you are considered down whether u were touched or not. Several college place HOLDERS had a knee down when receiving the snap, shouldn't they have been down immediately?
No. The rules for kicking are different. The rule is specifically written so that holders are not down on kicks simply because the play started with their knee on the ground. NCAA Rule 4, Section 1, Article 3, Letter B: www.ruletool.info/ncaa-rule-4-ball-in-play-dead-ball-out-of-bounds/
No it was overtime, so they would have only a delay of game, but not even that. It's not delay of game until the official sees it go to zero then turns to see if they've snapped it yet.
Hearing “it’s a fake!” over and over again never gets old lol
That kicker from Kentucky had wheels!
Cool play design too. Flip behind the holder to the kicker already in motion.
You never could trust Les Miles when it comes to FG's or Punting because he'll fake it.
That's what she said

The play @1:41, with the synchronized flip over the head by the Kentucky holder to the kicker was a work of art.
We just going to pretend like we didn't see the accidental punch at 4:17? Ok. Let's pretend.
Not sure if he did it on accident or if that was intentional.
He was just pumping his fist but the other guy was in the way
i saw dat
That KY kicker was insane. Perfect timing on the holder’s pop-o-matic toss too.
No footage of Browns, Tennessee, and a few others sorry
bro it’s fine I’ve been waiting for this vid

Every time I watch this I always get mad because it should have Been a delay of game but they didn’t call it

brett Stacy who y’all playing?
brett Stacy oh yeah, my fault aren’t y’all playin Texas
How have things been working out for that Georgia team? I’m sure the fake field goals really did them in.
No Penn St. on Michigan in the 1995 SnowBowl? That RG's pull was sweepin!
Watched that MSU,Notre Dame game and it made me cry. Go Irish
No one did it better than the Mad Hatter!!! Oh how I miss those days!! Have fun Kansas and enjoy!!

In the 2018/2019 fcs championship eastern Washington had a really good one
I love fancy plays
Gg’s never disappointed
:25, the beginning to an epic choke job by the Packers. And how do you leave out the Jay Feeley TD against Denver?
You ever notice the kicker on ND (Yoon, I think) moves early as fuck? Horrible fake and obvious false start but Virginia still couldn’t stop it 😂

Add Matt Prater’s throw from the Lions vs Packers yesterday!!
I love watching trick plays. Anyone else?😊

Wow

I can't believe we lost to Vanderbilt 🙄

Always love fakes like these
I like the one where they faked the field goal.
Troy Polamalu sends his regards
so 4:17 is why my madden players always try to knock out opposing players
I only seen fake field-goals in madden all my life (I’m 32) these are the first fake ones I’ve seen in real life ever!
these days, that last one would be ruled incomplete
2:15 ay crabtree went to my high school!
The Kentucky one is insane
0:52 beautiful block by 24
Man too bad that kicker/punter at 0:54 never played on Sundays apparently he was really unique
So glad Michigan State was in this
Any play where I don’t have to watch a field goal is a good play.
Michigan state officials be like what’d delay of game
Not a Note Dame fan but did anyone else notice that MSU snapped the ball after 0 on the play clock almost a whole second after?

That last one Michael Honeycock...I bet he used his last name to pick up the ladies lol.

I might as well watch robots playing.

Brad Nessler called NFL action too?
Someone should tell that announcer that defense and special teams are different outfits.
4:18 a little to excited there?
Oh ya ya
Can you fake an extra point? If so do you score 1 or 2 points?
You would get two because the scoring is an act of the ball crossing the plain of the goal while being held by an offensive player
Who else was today years old when they found out you could fake a field goal?
The one from Michigan State was delay of game. Should not have counted
u are missing tony romos 😅😅🤣🤣
the second one the play clock expired, I watched a 2nd time and the snapper didn't snap it even close to one time

Why the hell would it be a touchback? He caught it went into the end zone then got hit, the only argument would be maybe an incomplete pass
loganbuckeye11 you might be right if he held it long enough for it to be deemed a fumble then it’s a td
