- @kacieoneill There was a big Storm in Anchorage Alaska tonight and is still going on. On our way home we saw this beautiful bull moose. He crossed the street right in front of us! It was incredible.

I had a similar experience in Anchorage except, I was on foot. A thick ice fog rolled in and I was returning to my hotel.. I happened to look over and a moose slowly got up and walked next to me for over a city block. He wasn't more than 5 feet away. It was a hypnotic experience and completely out of this world. Thanks for sharing!

Well that's how big bull mooses are and never go near a moose and really keep your distance from a mama moose and especially a daddy moose unless if you wanna see God \/(°v°)\/ and grizzly bears too
I live in PA, near Pittsburgh. We have amazing wildlife, but nothing comparable to that!! Someday I will get there to see a moose in person.
I've lived in Alaska my whole life and even for me this was such an incredible sight! ❤️
I mean, PA has moose that come down from NY. Not as abundant as Alaska but they are there. Elk too.

Beautiful scenery I love the snow probably not so nice to be out driving but I love the snow I love the untainted snow where there's no humans footsteps this wild animals and it's so nice to see Mr Muffet pop up out of nowhere and then just walk across the street to Smoothie in like he didn't have a care in the world thank you for sharing

I was stationed in Newfoundland and I saw a group of moose from the Air circled over them in a helicopter 1964.

I lived in Anchorage from 1963 to 1967. Was in the strongest earthquake in recorded history. It was a 9.2 earthquake. To this day, over 50 years later, I still remember that sound an earthquake makes, it's horrifying.
Yes, my family was in that earthquake, and still, I remember all the stories! I know when we had that earthquake in November 2018. I think it was a 7 something. The sounds are definitely scary, I can't even imagine the 9.2 ❤️

I saw two of em cross in front of me up on The Dalton, did the same thing, crossed slow af, like "I don't give af, I'm king in this forest". Even with a massive semi idling right by them. Pretty awesome sight.

He’s lucky you were able to stop. I’ve slid through intersections in Calgary during storms like this even at low speeds because of ice under the snow.
I know about twenty minutes before this video, we almost slid into a moose. He ran right out in front of us! We were more alert after that 😳 😀

@@kacieoneill I'm in Northern CA & we get a couple of huge Black Bear Mama's w their cubs each year but I've yet to snap a video. It's just to dangerous when they're at your front door.
@AlleyandGrey oh I completely understand! When my son and I were charged by a Bear, my phone was NOT an option 😆 I was only thinking about the survival of my son at the time ❤️ but those bear moments stick with you!

I hate it when the animals cross these highways. This moose was lucky because the snow slowed down the traffic. Such a magnificent creature.
Yeah, it really could have been dangerous. I think everyone was driving about 20 mph that night. That moose was so beautiful to see ❤️
