Looking forward to tracking you tomorrow - have a great race - I’ll be rooting for a Lionel / Ari / Trevor podium
Maple syrup is such an OP power up
Meh just expensive sugar imo, I just use cane sugar. Same results but much cheaper
Appreciate you! Keep the videos coming. Rooting for you at Oregon 70.3!
I'm watching the tracker right now. Doing great buddy. Lionel is on another level today. Great interview with Travis too. Loved the background story
Ari my friend you have about the best running form as I’ve ever seen👏👏👏
This is very valuable advice on a pretty hot day. I tried to run from Rattlesnake Lake to Duvall today but had some issues but made it to Carnation, so 23 miles. The heat took me down 🥵. Thanks Ari
That’s a proper haul. Is that all on Snoqualmie Valley trail? Gets real hot on there
glad to see you re in a happy place, i am sure it will translate to race day performance
Impressive first 15th OV! 💪
Have a great safe race!!!
you were being surveilled by a white tesla! visible in 3 outta 4 reps
Good to see you changing up the ingredients on the tune. Sounds tasty. Maybe a heavy bass line away from a banger. I’m thinking Flume - Hyperparadise heavy. Also, it would be interested to see an overview of your training for the 10 weeks before Oregan to see how you progress workouts over a block
Good luck tmr!
Sounds like the gang is getting back together. Party in Salem. 🎉
good luck ari, safe travels and fkn empty the tank bro
we need race report!
We need to talk to LMNT about a doing a limited edition line...something like "Devil Salts", 'Strug Salts", "Virgin Salts"...some shit like that. I'd be all over it.
* bath salts
Pace vids 🔥
Appreciate you! Great to be back with my boy
Wait, Ari has coaches now?
Algo
do you have any interest/opinions on duathlons?
For running you should get a nerd belt
I just want to know the song in this video.
How did you dial in on your running nutrition so well? Was it all just “trial and error”, getting help from a nutritionist, or just a lot of research?
tbf, he was a collegiate runner so i image he’s already dialed in on the nutrition
Hostess sponsorship en route? No free pub.
There is no data on sodium and cramp 😅
Do you run everyday? I have just increased my volume to 6miles i know is not much but is tough! Really trying to increase the volune but i feel cooked
run slower and keep slowly increasing mileage. if you're running everyday eat a shit loads of carbs to feel better and sleep a lot
Tempo means keeping a steady pace, right?
Tempo is probably one of the most used and loosely defined words in endurance sport, but generally means “faster than your all-day steady pace, slower than your all out ~60min race pace”
@@archmdz Ok, as long as I got your attention. What's the difference between a tempo and a threshold? :)
@@shangrila73eldorado sometimes there isn't much of a difference. but if you're a beginner and training for a sub 20 min 5k a tempo might be 2 - 4 miles at 7min pace, and threshold might be 40 -60 mins at 7:30 pace. but threshold is usually determined by your levels of fitness and tempo is more just a hard workout close to race pace. if you don't know the difference then they generally aren't worth worrying about lol. just run hard a couple times a week and focus on recovering the rest of the time. making things too complex can kill gains often
@@nc8186 Thanks for your thoughtful reply. Do you think you can determine your threshold pace without a blood tester? How was it done in the past?
@@nc8186well if thats what your beginner looks like then id quite like to be a beginner 😂😂
Heat training is poor man’s altitude. Good sesh brotha
IMO: road frame is too small and stem is too short. Cool video.
I see the stem is integrated with the bar, and so you would need to change out the unit. It's VERY rare for a rider not shorter than 5'9" to need a ~100 mm stem. 120 mm is more typical.
first
homie got a gf to pushed him over the edge of sanity if they break up and get that OTQ
Running too fast. Build up aerobic capacity first to run fast on race day. 7 min. pace would be more beneficial.
