How can I tell difference against Virginia creeper

I don't know this plant personally, so don't have a certain way for distinguishing them throughout the growing season, but I suspect you can make headway based on the fact that Virginia creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia) is in the grape family and this is a cucurbit. All grape family seedlings I have ever seen have had distinctive heart-shaped cotyledons; melons/squash/cukes and perhaps the whole cucurbit family have oval cotyledons. The tiny individual flowers of Virginia creeper will look like those of grapes; those of this plant will probably look like tinier versions of cuke blossoms (not necessarily yellow, but 5 petaled, likely borne singly [which is definitely different from the grape family], probably with separate male or female flowers on the same vine). Virginia creeper, like grapes, produces a berry; this probably produces a "pepo" and if you slice it and look at that with a magnifying glass, it may anatomically resemble others of its family. Although he didn't mention the climbing technique, I suspect that this will either be a simple twiner (no tendrils, like the majority of vines) or have regular tendrils like cucumbers and the majority of cultivated cucurbits do. Parthenocissus has tendrils that end in "holdfast" suction cups, which is very rare in nature. It also usually has darker foliage than what I saw in this video. Of course if you are in North America and looking at a wild vine rather than something you or an herbalist planted, probability states that it is probably the (native & widespread) Virginia creeper rather than this vine which is native to China, not yet widely planted here, and doesn't seem capable of ripening its fruit (thus being spread by birds etc) where Mr Hollis lives and thus in all probability most northern states.
