As a railfan, it is always nice when the wonderful people who help the economy running share their kindness on the job. Whether it be a simple wave, a few horn toots, or (in the case of Kid Kango) an insane sequence of horn spamming, I believe all railfans appreciate when the crews share some joy on the high iron. As a celebration of these nice individuals, here is my compilation of all the times I have had crews share some good vibes on the railroad.
Thank you for taking time to watch my content, and I pray you have a blessed day!

What was your favorite clip?
12:09. sad I was never able to see 60m or I's + Dash 9-40C's
@@jenniferteffner9907 Dang. When did you start railfanning?
@@LocoPro May or June of 2019.
@@jenniferteffner9907 Wow, I would not have been able to tell. To think, if you started just a year earlier, you could have seen those locomotives. PSR didn’t really start kicking in until 2019.
@@LocoPro at least I was able to see 118 and 172 once each once
That’s music to My ears
6:29 my favorite part!
7:12 was. My favaite it sounds like 8101 and 8105
Simply amaizing. I wish that in my country they would honk as much as in these vids. Cheers!
I love the sound of trains, could listen all day😊
Very nice video my friend!! Very well said, we all love to see a great crew every now and then!
A couple weeks ago I got a horn salute from the crew of the 309 or 315 I couldn’t tell
Nice man!
I wanted to add this comment before but the fact that i've seen more UP power on NS trains is an understatement and also, Norfolk southern rarely uses there c44-9w's anymore (at least in warner robins ga) because I've seen more Ac44c6m's then anything and surprisingly more than GE 🤣
Amazing!
On the first video of Norfolk Southern, you can see Norfolk Southern heritage unit, hiding the back
Nice horn shows!!
Great Video.
Shout out to the crews thanks for being cool 😎
Awesome!!
Yea nice catches of good horn action
in the first clip his ditchlights gave up lol
10:03 Amtrak 160 before it became a heritage unit
At 18:46 was NS 9523 I've been in the cab of that unit
Really
@@KDubielak indeed lol
@@nssunburylinerailfanraymon8563did you get to blow the train horn
second clip that was coastal crew productions
Trust me, I know who that is. 😂
We need more crews like this. Most of them are dix.
I mean, these are people who are technically working. They don't owe it to us to be nice, so we just have to be very thankful and appreciative to us when they are.
I do agree, however, that many crews are cold, but the railroad is not an easy job.
@@LocoProbut there's no need to be rude. I hate it when they can very obviously see you (which is almost always) and just flat out ignore us being nice. I had a guy at Ahbrams who looked at me out of his open window when I waved and just started at me. I hate those kinds guys. He was an old head to. C'mon you've been around alot longer than most of us if anyone knows about respect it should be you.
@@ReadingAreaRailfanhe doesnt have to wave back or honk at you, nor should you expect it
Very nice horns 🙂 like and sub
Good catch on Norfolk southern Erie heritage unit
Julia at the beginning 🔥🔥
Most certainly!
NS 213 clear Toccoa, GA with
NS 1849 (ACC), NS 4092 (C6M), NS 4006 (C6M). NS 370 has NS 7284 (ACU), NS 7324 (ACU), NS 1028 (ACU)
Legend, once again. I’ll try to catch that if I can.
@@LocoPro this will be my FIRST time seeing an ACU leading yet alone a DUO!
@@jenniferteffner9907 I’m happy for you, bro. Happy railfanning!
1028 (ACe)
There's a Kansas city southern veterans locomotive and it has the same number as Norfolk southern 4006
Have you met my kid kango that is one of his favorite railfanning spots
Yes, I've met Kid Kango plenty of times.
@@LocoPro I haven't yet
0:31 did the ditch lights just stop flashing?
You’ve got a good eye. What you’ve noticed is actually not an issue. On newer NS GEs, a timer restarts every time the engineer blows the horn, restarting the ditch light sequence. Since the engineer was doing horn spam at this moment, the ditch light was essentially “stuck” since the engineer was restarting the sequence with every blast.
Hope that helps. Have a blessed New Year. :)
Have you caught Norfolk southern 4002
No, but I have seen 4003 and 4001.
@LocoPro me nether I haven't seen Norfolk southern 4002 yet

Do not do this again because it is so dangerous to put your camera on the train tracks
I put it on the track ten minutes before the train came.
@@LocoPro I know but it is still dangerous to you to put phone on the train tracks if the train is close to you you will be upset
@@LocoPro I think their mom mode kicked in 🥲
