- My mod pack "Legends Of The Orient" is now available in english language!
To give all the english speaking folks an introduction to my characters, I thought: Why not do an english commentary? :D So I did that!
In this four part series of AI fights (or rather podcast) I will tell you quite a bit about my creations; their abilities and characteristics as well as their backstories.
Let me know what you think! I will try to answer any question or suggestion you have. :) My pack is and will remain free to play - if you want to try it out you will find all the links down below!

So many explanations about everyone, so many speaking about Pig, and he anyway managed to completely ignore the elephant in the room about him - the pikemen usage

Well, here you go:
In SH1 the pig was the first Lord to introduce these units towards the player. I remember how frightening these were, since they were able to destroy walls and towers so easily!
So (for me) they fit both his lore and his character, since he is all about "breaking through".
He uses them in definite numbers though, 150 vanguard units and 40 digging units. Macemen are still the unit he scales endlessly.
Still I feel why this is strange to some old Crusader fans. In the base game it felt like Duc Truffe was attacking with mini Truffs, since the character and the unit looked so similar. :D The problem is: Macemen are very weak in the vanilla balance. If he would rely on them only, he would be much, much weaker! So this is somewhat about the tier balance as well.
I also boosted the pig's defenses by quite a pig :D
Finally! I hope for Richi Mc.A Little Richs victory!!

Yeah, I think they hugely benefited from my decision to give them an accent. :) So much variance and it adds even more character!

All this motivation to get back, but then he makes such a mistake.
To be fair he probably would've lost anyway. The Hyena gave him a really hard time while Emira could build her economy and army undisturbed. And even in a 1vs1 her economy is more powerfull vs Richard. So without luck she would've overrun him.
@@DundG Emira was better scaled as Richard, but the swordsman from him are a big counter against her, if he could live long enough. :D
@@Beisepimp Emiras army grows faster than Richards. She can afford it, while Richards economy, as Pilaw stated, isn't enough to support his big army. It is true that Eropean Swordmen are stronger than Arab Swordsmen. But if thete are 1.5 times more of them than European ones, she still has the edge.
With the upcoming Unofficial Crusader Patch 3, which will release sometime, good buildings and religion will get buffed. So Richard profits from both buffs and will get a stronger economy once it releases and then we will see who's on top ^^
But what I'm really afraid if us the Inquisitor once religion gets buffed. How much stronger will he get?!
@@DundG Yes that will change some things again, but when I remember correctly, in a 1vs1 Richard has won the battle against her before. :D
@@DundG That will be fun to watch. Religion buildings are quite expensive and not viable in early game, and they consume a lot of space,even raiding them is qiute devasting loss.

Haha introduces the lionheart first in case he gets killed ends up killing 2/3 enemies. Would have been great if he would have killed them all haha.

@@AlterGrisu Naja, letztlich ist das kein Move. :D Ich ziele ja gar nicht darauf ab, dauerhaft englischen Content zu bringen. Zum Teil wollte ich es einfach mal ausprobieren auf englisch zu casten, ja. Aber es geht mir auch vor allem darum, auf diese Videos verweisen zu können, wenn ich mal nach Informationen zu den KIs gefragt werde. (Was durchaus regelmäßig vorkommt.)
Mir gefällt es auf deutsch auch besser! Und nur noch ein Video, dann ist es ja geschafft. :)

Mach dein Ding schau mir den Kampf trotzdem immer gerne an. Muss mich dann aber echt konzentrieren. Mein Schul Englisch ist auch schon ein paar Jahre her 🙈
