Yes he was holding back in the apartment fight, one thing with Spider-Man is that he knows he’s stronger than his villains. He knows he’s strong enough to kill them if he didn’t pull his punches and because of that he’s always holding back cause he doesn’t want to kill anyone.

Remember from SP1 (Toby), that Norman's formula was basically a super soldier serum that had a side effect of driving test subjects crazy. So Peter had to basically fight an insane Cap or Bucky

Fun fact: Almost every iteration of Spider-Man holds back, pulling all their punches, because he is so strong he could break nearly all your bones with a single punch.
One version, Superior Spider-Man, was Otto Octavius taking over after a mind switch and took up the mantle to be a better Spider-Man, a "Superior" one. Early in his new hero career, he nearly kills three villains with little effort, realizing that Spider-Man had been holding back on fighting him for so long. Taking off the Scorpion's jaw with one punch.
And Scorpion had superhuman durability as well when that happened.

@@NameIsZHe's like Spiderman except with Scorpion. So he has superhuman strength, speed, durability, stamina, and wall crawling. The sting with the venom was his own creation along with the suit.

The reason why Dr. Strange couldn't trap Thanos in the mirror dimension is because he had both the Space and Reality stone that time. He could manipulate space and reality, which means trapping him in the mirror dimension would've been ineffective.
When Strange tried Thanos counterattacked making the mirror dimension speel in a bunch of butterflies(Moths?), it was sick
I once heard that there were two sides to being Spider-Man:
1. He always tries to help people no matter what.
2. He also happens to have the absolute worst luck in the universe.
Peter's life is a shitshow. Very few exceptions.
He did take thanos to the mirror dimension. Thanos power stoned and broke out immediately 😂
The small redemption Andrew Garfield got from catching MJ and actually saving them is genuinely emotional. You can almost feel that Peter had been planning out and constantly thinking of what he could have done differently to save her life and now he can actually do it.
I cry waterfalls every time because of the satisfaction he gets but also knowing that if he jumped down to save Gwen instead relying on the webbing she would've still been her omg this movie is so good
The experience of seeing all this in the cinema was so surreal. One of the best cinema experiences of my entire life and it brought to life all the things I wanted to see for a long time and it was easily my favourite movie of 2021 and one of my top 3 MCU movies ever.

back in the days when everyone were waiting months for the movie to release and everyone was so hype when they saw doctor octopus's "hello peter" and the pumpkin bomb, the experience in the cinemas is unforgettable

The Spidermen always hold back their hits because they're just too strong they could break all their opponent's bones in one blow ; so yeah, Peter was holding back back at Happy's place. That's why the final fight hits different ; he's so pissed he doesn't hold back against Norman out of pure wrath
A lot of people really don't know that spiderman is always holding back and he's way stronger than he shows because even Green goblin is a super human and he was getting the best of him

I have to say it here because I've yet to see somebody recognize it, but listen closely to the music that plays during the whole scene when Dr Strange has to cast the spell to make everybody forget Peter at the end of the movie. It's a sad-toned version of one of the main themes of the film, but it uses small snips of the tracks that played when Tony Stark died and at his funeral. I thought that was incredible use of music and very symbolic of Peter maturing into himself and, in terms that Cap and Tony would recognize, "making the sacrifice play" that those who read comics would expect our selfless Spiderman to do. EXCELLENT use of music. I recognized the theme when I first saw the movie in theaters, and it REALLY added to the emotion of the scene for me!

Tom’s spidey may have more experience, but he usually has help.. Tobey and Andrew (apart from Harry in spiderman 3) usually do things on their own.. Andrew gets some help from Gwen too
I'm not sure about space but everyone on Earth memory has been erased including technology like E.D.I.T.H which uses biometric identification which is why he needed to make its own suit also he didn't need a advance suit. Also it's only people and things that can match Peter Face to his name but things that has only his name he still has like his birth certificate.

Hey just wanted say that dr strange did try to send thanos to the dimension if you notice during the fight strange throws a glass like substance at thanos which thanos proceeds to shatter with a punch, he just couldnt get thanos inside

Dr Strange attempted to use this during the fight on Titan. Thanos used one or more of the stones to somehow nullify or counter it. I'd have to rewatch IW, but you can see him cast the cracked glass/mirror looking effect at Thanos, which would have put him in the mirror dimension had it connected.

Ned is actually going to be a villain eventually. In the comics, the actor playing "Ned" is Ned Leeds who becomes the Hobgoblin. The difference between him and the Green Goblin in the comics if I'm not mistaken uses magic and this movie sets that up!!

Both of Sandman and Lizards transformations back to human are just edits of scenes they filmed in their last movie.
Sandman's is basically the end of the subway fights, when he is falling apart, turning into mud, played in reverse and a new cgi job.
Lizard's is actually an alternate take of his transformation back to human from amazing spiderman
thats why beyond those bits, they are completely cgi, despite sandman's usual ability to look normal
they were never on set, they just did voice work

The original spell was only supposed to make everyone forget Peter was Spider-Man. In order to fix the rift in the multiverse, Strange has to make everyone forget Peter even EXISTS. That explains his reluctance to cast the latter spell. It has significantly more consequences for Peter.
Yep, it's much more worse than the original spell. At least with that one, he could have continued living on but everyone would have forgotten who Spider-Man's secret identity is. The new version wipes him so much out of existence, even his Stark suit doesn't recognize him, hence, why it prompted him to make his own suit.

I wouldn't necessarily write off Ned's villain comment. While quite different the Ned Leeds in the comics went on to be one of several characters to take on the Hobgoblin persona.
Yes, that might still happen since now he's forgotten his promise to Peter. He won't even remember he's broken that promise if he never remembers he made it in the first place.
Life could just deal him a shitty hand, and that leads him down the path of villainy. A lot like the other villains who never really wanted to be evil, they just had unfortunate circumstances that led them to become one.
Maybe how he becomes a version of hobgoblin is that this Ned has access to magic, which if so, could potentially be dangerous.
