The surprise in getting the Mike Schmidt auto was the best!!
Since rejoining the hobby, like so many a few years ago, I've been counting down until the '75 design it Heritage. Heritage is my favorite set for all of its variations and ROAs. There is something so retro about these 70s color combos...man do they look sharp in chrome!
2019 archives had some 75 design as well.

First time seeing someone get a box topper auto, nice. Set looks nice this year and the Chromes are much better.
Usually don’t rip Heritage but 75 Topps is one of my all time favorite sets. Amazing Schmidt box topper auto! You Rock Stryker! So close to 100k!
1975 was the first set I ever put together by packs as a kid. I still have them today and all the doubles. Have 4 Brett rookie doubles and 3 Yount rookie doubles and they are in both great shape. One of my favorite sets of all time.

I’ve never really opened any Heritage before but since I’ve shifted my collecting to more set building and base rookies, this set looks right up my alley. Might have to buy a few boxes
I'm going to start collecting Baseball cards (from the UK) and the heritage set is going to be my thing. I love the idea of it and how it's made for set collectors, which as someone who remembers putting sets together (for soccer and gpk) as a kid well before things like ebay or even the internet existed, I can appreciate. Thank you for showing it.
I've always loved Heritage as a 37 yr old Vintage collector. I also love how they have a Soto Auto in his Yankee uniform! Short prints will be 1-99 from what I heard too instead of having High Numbers.. guna be crazy to try and complete this set 💯🔥

2024 Topps Heritage is like the ultimate time machine for card collectors! But let's be honest, we all know what would really take it to the next level, more elusive Rollie Fingers cards popping up like a surprise party in every pack! Great top loader! Heritage is always my favorite set each year. My other favorites I can’t afford so this is definitely some I can actually buy.
They should have put minis in there as a parallel. It would be a nice homage to the original 75 minis.

@@in2rock275 Very doubtful. Topps doesn't usually correct errors unless they are caught before the product comes out. If it were something in the picture that was taboo, then they would change it (tobacco, Alcohol advert. ect.) This is just what I've come to observe but nothing is written in stone.

Wow, crazy start with the Schmidt auto! Topps 1975 was the first year I bought cards, when I rode my bike to the 7-11 all summer, using most of my allowance on baseball cards and Wacky Packs. 😅
It's a great colorful design with some interesting inserts. I got two hobby boxes, and on the way are Target megaboxes, whish have exclusive red-bordered cards.

Bought 2 boxes of hobby today hopefully I’ll get lucky when they come in!! I love the look of them.
I'll be building the set. I took 25 years off from collecting cards. I started up last year. I got some heritage to get a taste and got hooked. so now I collect Topps standard, Heritage and archives. I have standard topps complete complete sets from 1987 to 2023. Collecting cards again brings me back to my teen years. my all-star picks are all Dodgers, Mookie, freddie, Shohei, Will Smith and Bobby Miller. I like your videos dude. Only thing I see different in the acuna variation was bottom right. Acuna was a star and harper was a baseball. But that's probably not it

Not liking that they switched the SPs to the beginning of the checklist. At the end I felt like I could ignore them-like the appendix at the back of a book-but at the front it's harder to pretend that a complete non-SP run is actually complete. Last year I just bought a complete set (minus SPs, obs) on ebay and called it a day. I figured I'd do the same this year, but maybe instead I should abandon the idea of a complete set and just open a box or two to try and grab some key rookies and a banger chrome or two.
I dunno, the SPs in Heritage are so blah. The only people who want a Brandon Drury SP are set builders. The SPs, then, just feel like Topps artificially making it harder to get the job done.

If 2024 is like 2023, you shouldn’t have to inspect the backs to find a flip stock. I pulled a Joey Ortiz flip stock from 2023 high number and it was upside down. 2022, on the other hand, they weren’t turned around and I almost missed a flip stock. Was organizing a complete set of high number from a box and discovered two CJ Abrams rookies. Discovered that one had a glossy back.
I like the design this year. definitely going to buy some but not enough to get close to the set. too large anyway for me.

Love Heritage. Doesn't work for the guys who love the glittery stuff and it makes you go through the cards 3 or 4 times. Enjoy opening them. When you get a hit, It's usually a big one.

That was a good box. Every heritage box I've purchased wasn't anything like that one u just opened. I usually get a crappy relic and a bunch of base cards.
My flip stock was backwards in 2023 high numbered hobby its brandon marsh not bad considering

I personally think this would be a great set too collect and invest in. I got a 20 card pack earlier. It paid for it's self and then some.

Someone should tell fanatics it's 2024 and autographs are the only guaranteed hit we want in products at these prices leave the relic cards to guaranteed blaster boxes hits. Anything above blaster box prices should automatically come with two relics (one common and one numbered).

The red ink real ones are VERY hard to come buy. Bought 2 boxes and was lucky enough to get an Evan Carter /75. The variations are hard to spot. The text is very small
You thought I was crazy a few months ago when I said that Anthony Volpe was gonna be an all star this year. You said it was impossible because of how far down in the lineup he was hitting. What are your thoughts now that he's leading off? And I love heritage this year. 1975 is one of my favorite designs.

lynn won the mvp in '75 but was also a rookie. his original '75 topps card is on a 4 player card. his 1/4 of that card is represented here.
