I have a full icon box soon to be delivered (73 / hutch / side lockers / top lockers). Like you, I will be a one man show putting this behemoth together. I am, however, worried about getting it pushed against the wall with the non-swivel casters - and I’m not in love with the idea of paying $250 for a set of swivel casters for this one purpose. I am curious if you had considered using a floor jack and a 2/4 to slightly lift under the static casters to push the box back? This is the approach I am considering - but curious (since you have been through this) if you see issues with this idea?

I will say I got some help for the overheads and would definitely recommend it. I do believe the delivery team should help unbox and setup. White gloves service they call it. I actually use that 2x4 and floor jack technique to shim mine level but am sure it could work as you described. Definitely lift only the minimum height you need, ensure the 2x4 is flush with the back of the box to ensure it can get as close to the wall as possible. Just be sure it doesn’t slip off as you push the floor jack. Be safe!

It’s crazy how similar it is to the Epiq boxes

How were you able to get additional drawers for the lockers? How much did they cost?

If you look on their website for the ICON boxes you’ll see a parts list for the lockers. I called customer service and ordered that way. All you should need is the slide pair, drawer, and mat for each unit. Expect about $80ish per setup. Be sure to order the right color drawers, slides n mat should be same for all

@@unfilteredjamaican3478 Dang pricey! I love your setup. Awesome thank you for the info. I was out drinking beer in the shop the other night and thought how nice it would be to have an entire locker with all drawers top to bottom. Currently i have the 56" with the work center, side locker and recently ordered the end cabinet to go onto it bc im out of space. Ive got all my tools put away nicely but what I need more space for is all of my plastic cases that have programmers, gear pullers and all that stuff, as well as needing more drawer space for parts/pins/electrical connector and all my random part and clamp kits and such. Im thinking im going to add a second locker, swapping their parts around, one locker being all drawers and the second locker being all shelves. Im 6ft, do you have any problems seeing into the top drawers? And any idea how many drawers will fit in a single locker if they are not spaced out? Ill have a total of 8 drawers after ordering a second locker, curious how many more i would need to fill it up

@@MattWilde-p5l Space is always at a premium. I’m out of town and won’t get back anytime soon to give you that count. I do know you can fit 1 drawer per slot. At 6’2 I can just see inside my top drawer, but I also don’t have small stuff up there.

I just bought a snap on 84 epiq tooo box. The snap on guy said if I was to transfer it, I need a flatbed tow truck, and the should hook 🪝 it from the caster pull it up on the flat bed. But snap on caster is heavy duty.

I've got the double bank icon with two side lockers, hutch and two top boxes. It's been on a roll back twice since I got it. Make sure the tow company knows what they are doing and use the casters on the main box for the hooks.

I was just wondering if it was feasible to mount an end cab and a locker on the same end.

I thought about that idea. But it don’t make sense for the larger, heavier cases I slide beneath the boxes. I once saw a vid where it was done. That’s like a few extra drawers effectively.
