They have one more with Lindsey called Papaoutai. It’s a French song but you don’t have to understand the lyrics to understand what’s going on in the video. If you want more emotional songs please try their covers of Hallelujah, Imagine, Say Something, and dancing on my own- it’s The first song they recorded after Avi left the group and they didn’t have a new bass yet.

This song is still in my top 5 of Pentatonix, I just love it. Many years since this track was released and it still sounds fresh to me. 🔥

Salton Sea beach is the location, iirc. This is the video that introduced me to PTX, and still one of my favorites.

I have watched this video about 6 times for multiple reasons, but one is because I love your emotional real response as you are touched by the amazing talent in this video.
I found Lindsey first, and this video introduced me to Pentatonix. She has led me to a number of CZcamsrs because of all of her collaborations.
She introduced me to The Piano Guys who I love.
You would really like the PTX original Love Again. The makeup is awesome and it has Avi on some killer bass lines.

does a lot of covers and cool collaborations. She is amazing. I thing that you can do more of here. A lot of dancing and instrumental. You will be flabbergasted.

Filmed at Salton Sea, an inland saltwater body in southern California that was a popular tourist attraction in the first half of the 20th century until it became the site of an ecological near-disaster that has now been almost forgotten. If you like exploring largely abandoned areas, this is a VERY cool place to visit. It literally looks like a post-apocalyptic war zone.
I absolutely love how emotional you get reacting to Pentatonix and your reactions in general. Can't wait to see more!!

Lindsey Sterling and Kevin Olusola are both superb musicians, but put them together and they're awesome squared. Scott Hoying is stellar on this track, with the grit and growl to fit the setting and the mood and Avi, Mitch and Kirstie are terrific as always. Great way to start 2020 - have a great one!

They also collab again for a Song Called ( I'm gonna butcher the spelling) Popautey That spelled horrible but it a French song so PTX sang it in French and lindsay sterling is in with them

Lindsay has two videos with PTX, but for whatever reason she doesn't sing, just plays her violin. (Maybe she sings a little in the background? Not sure.) Anyway, the other video she does with PTX is Papaoutai.
There's two more songs with Lindsey and PTX collabing! Papaoutai, is a french song and then they did 'Over The River'!

This is one of my favorite PTX vids (I'm still a Home Fry but I used to listen to PTX before finding them) and I like Lindsey...and I'm a costume-aholic, this makes my little post apocalyptic/horror/steampunk heart got pitter patter, and yes, even though I'm a strange old lady, I thought Avi was hot here. And this one sort of had to have instruments cause that's Lindsey's thing. If you're not familiar with her, you should see some of her stuff like Skyrim with Peter Hollens...nice Naruto hat btw,lol

Great reactions!!! I would love to see your reactions to Lindsey's original song video's "ARTEMIS" and/or "SLEEPWALKING" from her 4th orginal album. She has done many collaborations including "PAPAOUTAI" with PTX and at least 4 collabs with Peter Hollens and many more people beside her original music.
You should watch Papaoutai coz that’s also PTX and Lindsay Stirling. And I love that it’s in French. 🇫🇷💜💛🎵🎶

I know that it was shot at one of the abandoned beaches around the Salton Sea, in California. I'm not positive of the specific location, but it might have been Babylon Beach. The Salton Sea was a somewhat popular low-cost resort in the 1950s and 1960s, but as the lake shrank and consumer tastes shifted, more and more communities that sprang up around the lake were abandoned. You can see the lake in little snippets in this video. such as the shots where are six of them are in frame (about a minute into the video, and other shots throughout).
Since Pentatonix used "#soon" often to tease us with upcoming new projects, the shot of Lindsey in front of "soon" at 1:52 (in your video) makes me laugh. I'm surprised that they didn't snap a shot of the five people in Pentatonix in front of that building to use...
It certainly looks like one of the abandoned communities near the Salon Sea. There are several post apocalypse villages in the area. Some people love it out there.
This was incredible!! Lindsey Sterling almost looks as though she is one of them...she and Kevin are seamless together. Been a Pentaholic since their early CZcams days. If you're a big Avi fan watch "Love Again"....Incredible bass and beat boxing!! I was looking to see if you already had reacted to it but I can't find it.

This was my first fave by them. WAY better than the original in my humble opinion.
Loved the reaction. Some of their older pre-Daft Punk stuff like this one doesn't get the love that the more recent stuff does. I first saw Pentatonix back in the old Gotye days when the Walk Off the Earth cover (the 1 guitar 5 players video) exploded and all the artists covering Somebody I used to Know (including Pentatonix) got introduced to a wider Internet audience. I think you would get a kick out of watching that cover to see more of their roots. Thanks!

PTX and Linsey have been friends for years.
You haven't seen it because you are coming at PTX from the other end. You found them while they were in their AMAZING phase and are working your way back. If you enjoy them with instruments, you need to watch their Star Wars tribute from the 2015 AMA's. They perform with a full orchestra. and the orchestra can barely keep up (IMHO). When you add instruments to an already awesome vocal performance and they work to support the vocals, amazing things can happen.

That was shot at the Salton Sea in the southern desert of California. It was a hot spot in the 50's and 60's. Environmental stuff made it rancid and it lost popularity. What is on the video is actually what it looks like.

This video was my first experience with Pentatonix after their participation in that a capella singing competition show. And I knew of Lindsey Stirling from AGT. But yeah, I think this video came out around the time the Denzel Washington film "Book of Eli" came out and I think they pulled some inspiration from it to shoot this video. Where was this shot? I believe it's some old abandoned settlement in the California desert somewhere.

Such a good song best Alternative band ever seriously so good wow he sounds great; Ok maybe best in a really long time. They are Pop technically as people get what pop means confused pop just means your on Billboard's top 200 list and that's each week so if you are in the top 200 sales of the week your pop. Have people arguing Cannibal Corpse not pop it is they on the list they can book an arena they pop.
