This video shows that innovations and creativity can be applied to rejuvenate and popularize Sanskrit that was the fountainhead of numerous Asian and European languages. While Sanskrit is driven to obsolescence in India after it was widely downgraded in school curriculum, it is refreshing to note that Sanskrit is becoming popular in Europe and I applaud the efforts of Gabriela to popularize Sanskrit through her talents in music.

Thank you Gaiea!

I remember singing this to my younger brother because our family is pretty traditional and this was all I knew as a lullaby at the age of 6. But I loved the repetitive and soft verses. Years later, at the age of 13, despite knowing many more songs and lullabies, I still sang this to my second brother. Sometimes I revisit those days and realise how some things never change.

In our school , I hated sanskrit ... I just passed final paper of sanskrit with just 1 mark above passing marks !
Reason - the way of teaching ... It was outdated .. no motive was though .. no reason for learning this language .. it was just a burden .even for our teachers .. they tough sanskrit only for money and why so low quality teacher ... Because lack of graduates from sanskrit ... !
We love which looks and feels better ..
Sanskrit is such a lovely language. . so advance language ... But ..in school and in youths .. the way of showcase of sanskrit is too much odd and irrelevant looking ... So Indians even diverted from sanskrit to english and other languages and some language for just show off ...
But the way you are presenting sanskrit is ♥️ heart touching ... You have got a great voice , a great look , a great heart , and a great mind
    Thank you a lot ! ...
This song is so relaxing !

@@XyzXyz-ir2gr not correct. Malayalam and Tamil have lot of similarities. But Malayalam have 1000's of direct Sanskrit words. Example the words of this song has direct Malayalam words. Another thing is that when we learn malayalam alphabets we have almost 52 of them that is exactly similar to Devnagari alphabets. Tamil is bit different here(not much, Tamil is very beautiful language, I lived in Tamil Nadu. Extremely nice Indian culture if you want to see, go to Tamil nadu. Now 80% destroyed by outside religions and Britishers. Always they managed Tamil Hindus that you are dravidians etc so that they should feel different from "Sanskrit". The current political party DMK - D stands for Dravida and they are atheists, stage managed by Britisher to convert Hisndus to Christians..is initiated by Britishers for the same reasons)

Emblematic Bhajan , nice rendering .
This song is only about Lord Krishna , not about own´s on person . While the jiva may be simultaneously one and different from Bhagavan , he can never be on the same level as God . Ideally the text is understood as a humble offering of devotion to the Supreme Lord and not as self-praise .
