He did stay with poppy for a while professionally and from what the internet knows not romantically, while actively stalking and abusing Margo. Poppy was a Margo clone thanks to Titanic St Cockroach. Dudes I went to see Jane's Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins last night, and had no idea Poppy was opening for them. She was killer and it was easily the strongest performance that night, so much energy and musical ability.
If she's performing nearby definitely get tickets.
I saw the same show 4 nights ago in Vancouver and she was insanely good. I like Jane's Addiction but honestly would have preferred it if she had been given time for 4 or 5 more songs and been sole opening act for the Pumpkins. Jane's was good but Poppy was better. She killed it!

@@spindrift2009 it's not just good marketing ya'll. I went with two other guys who knew nothing about her and they thought she was fantastic and both said they felt the show could have been better had she been given more time in the second slot and Jane's opened the show. Laugh all you want she was more than just fun. She won a huge amount of people over on this tour. Jane's was fun but they were anything but legendary on this tour. Maybe if Perry sang the songs rather than mumbling.

That concert is like a Music Festival; 5 hours long, and I loved Poppy; my new favorite current band.

Actually she doesn’t. Her partner Titanic Sinclair manipulated her and ever since she finally broke away from him she broke away from the character too. However, she still performs under the name Poppy. The only difference is that she now has complete creative freedom of her work and she can be her authentic self wherever she goes. She just has a somewhat high-pitched voice.
