See there can be a chance where panel decides to question you on why you want to appear for the interview in Hindi (if you have appeared for the exam and filled the form in English). But chances are low...so that's why important to seek permission beforehand just to be clear.

Pls don't focus or spend time in gathering information that'll not help you in clearing the exam. But just for information, they had tie ups with Bank of India and ICICI Bank back then. Don't know about now.

General awareness/news and some basics of insurance and reinsurance. Also practice probable Qs from your prior academic background, work ex and future aspirations.
Don't think speaking in regional languages during a GD will fetch you good marks. You can however request the panel to conduct the interview in regional language if they are okay with it.

Ideally no because there could people from different parts of India and they might not be conversant in Hindi. So to make it fair, the common language used is English generally.

1. So take the cut off, add to it the average GD/PI marks that you think candidates get. Then see how much is the cut off. This difference is what you need to score extra in the exam. As a rule of thumb, score around 10-20 marks more than the cut off 2. You can check out some websites such as bankersadda

Training is usually for 1 month. They take care of the accommodation. Venue and institute of training may change from year to year. Our batch was trained at III.
The art to decide 2 things- 1. do you want to issue a policy (take on some risk in exchange of money ie premium) 2. if you do want to issue a policy then what should be its premium Underwriters take the technical premium provided by actuarial deptt and then decide the final market premium based on the market trends and business concerns.

Sir I am presently working in lic as an assistant and the recent wage revision has been satisfactory is it still wise to apply for gic re as the wage revision is still pending I heard the rent gets add up with gross salary as a result more salary gets deducted as tax Please enlighten.

I have scored 90.5 in insurance stream cutoff is 80.5 for general and 83.5 for ews is it sufficient to get job
