I got a bottle of this the other day and haven't had a chance to put it in a cocktail yet. This helped a lot. It is very tasty by itself.
Agreed! might be good with just some soda water. Cheers!
@@UnclePeteWhy not Champagne?
Why not indeed!
@@UnclePete Used to live in Paris for 18 months and got my chance to admire Kir and Kir Royal as an aperitif which is not always done with crème de cassis but with whichever is available, peach, bramble, rhubarb, etc. For this reason I have a couple of liquers just to mix with champagne, or prosecco, or Cava.
Sounds amazing!
Positive feedback!
Wheeeee!!
UNCLE PETE!!! This is one bottle I've been looking for!!! These cocktails look awesome!! I love Cocchi Americano, so I hope I can find this!!! Great video!! CHEERS!!!
I had to mail order it, but it was worth it!
Great find! I'll have to see if any of the specialty shops here have it.
Good luck! I think you'll really like it!
Uncle Pete always uncovers the new gems on the market. This one is on my radar now; not available near me yet (So Cal area). I have a few other on my try list: Curacaos (Mandarine Napoleon, Clement Creole Shrubb, J.M. Shrubb D'Orange) and and Triple Sec (Solerno Blood Orange). Choices, choices, choices. Which one to try first.
I just got my hands on some Clement Creole Shrubb. Awesome stuff!!
I love Mandarine Napoleon, and Clement Shrubb is fun, more spicy than some of the other options. I bet you could find this yuzu in so cal somewhere, good luck!
In PF’s defense, “*dry* curacao” only makes sense within the context of other curacaos, so the modifier of yuzu continues that convention, from a style guide perspective.
Silly branding/language style questions aside, great exhibition of an intriguing product! Love the choice of cocktails: not artificially putting the yuzu under a huge 🔎, but neither do they obscure it.
Thanks! Yeah, I get why they called it that, and I don't really object, just struck me a bit weird. I really enjoyed these drinks, and I think the liqueur is delish!
I saw this bottle at my shop when it was first released and didn’t think to pick it up. I’m really surprised you went with an El Presidente. 😉
LOL I'm so predictable!
@@UnclePete actually you’re incredibly unpredictable. It’s the fun of your channel. 🤙🏽
Thanks buddy!
Pete! Snagged a bottle of this the other week but haven’t had a chance to try it yet. Both of your variations sound delicious! Might also give it a whirl in a Between the Sheets (an underrated drink IMO!) and a Japanese Slipper (even tho the yuzu in the PF is sourced from 🇲🇦 not 🇯🇵!)
OOh Between the Sheets would be good for sure! Let me know how that goes!
Unfortunately not available in my neck of the woods. I can get the Pierre Ferrand triple sec dry Curaçao, I might go for that one.
It's good too!
I never knew what yuzu is. Thought it was some soy sauce concoction from Japan. Thanks to YOU, Uncle Pete, now I know❤
Life long learing!
My apology-tardy tour of like 6 weeks of back logged Pete continues!
Binge it baby!!
@@UnclePete I am going to try to find this near me. Total Wine was a total bust. We have a few speciality privately owned shops but I’m not optimistic.
I finally found it! Trying it tonight!🎉🎉🎉
U can get a yuzu choya liqueur not this yet. Sounds great.
I’m really digging it
