  • Hi and welcome to our channel!
This is a walk we took on June 15, 2024, along the Danube in Ulm/Neu-Ulm.
We started around Edwin-Scharff-Haus in Neu Ulm and walked in the direction of Friedrichsau in Ulm.
Not that long ago, the river here flooded almost all the paths that we are walking today, in some places you still can see the marks of that.
Ulm, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, is renowned for its stunning Gothic architecture, notably the Ulm Minster, which boasts the tallest church steeple in the world. The city is also recognized as the birthplace of the famous physicist Albert Einstein.
Across the river lies Neu-Ulm, which is part of the state of Bavaria. Neu-Ulm, though smaller and more modern, complements its historical counterpart with a vibrant cultural scene and serves as a residential and commercial extension of Ulm.
Enjoy the views and see you on another trail!
