Edge: Surgical Black
We got a package in the mail, a nonamebear dropped for us! A bunch of goodies were found inside this package including: Bear tallow base soap, matching aftershave splash, and a razor with a surgical black arkansas edge. The razor was very nicely honed with a nice keen and comfortable edge! I also want to emphasis the taste Robert has when it comes to his soaps, the scent on this one was just spectacular! Remember, I always read and reply to all of your comments so feel free to drop one in the comment section!

I have to say my friend the surgical black stone or the translucent could possibly be one of the best edges that can be produced! IMO
Sean, Another great vid. But, as you are a native American/English speaker, I have to point out. There are two states in the USA - one called Kansas _ pronouced Kan-sez - and another called Arkansas - pronouned Ark-can-saw. Arkansas stones come from the latter.

Im honored my friend, I’ve never thought of myself as a very fluent English speaker since my first language was Spanish but hearing those words gives me a confidence boost! Looking back into how I pronounce it I think I was saying ark-can-sez which isn’t correct at all 😂

I am glad that you liked the soap and razor. Sorry that you got yourself. The mouth corners can be tough to shave. The whole family watched it anticipation, my daughter and I where sweating. lol
Funny with the bear jokes, bear is my nick name. Areffa soaps is the name of the maker out of Ukraine. With the bear tallow it has great skin healing properties, and hydrates the skin as well. After my shaves I reapply the soap, that is left over, while I clean up before I rinse it off. The post feel is amazing. You might want to give it a try before Eric gets it. lol.

Bear tallow..hmm.. I ordered my first tallow soap this week, and in a few weeks, I hope to get my Jarrod-plate. Then my Dan's black ark will be convexed.. now time for a G&T and dream of the future. Happy Friday man.
@@dnamol my friend you will love tallow soap! I’m rooting for you with the shaping of a black ark… just know you don’t have to finish in one day it will probably take a long time to convex a hard stone like that but keep pushing through I believe in you! Happy Friday

@@borbelyhaz321 hey! So when it comes to keenness I would say they are both close to the same level but the level of comfort on the Arkansas is leagues above the naniwa in my opinion. I am of the thinking that a synthetic stone will eventually get milder and more comfortable after 2-3 shaves tho.
