I WORKED AT THE PRODUCE DEPARTMENT AS A PRODUCE CLERK FOR A MONTH AT HARRIS TEETEER IN VA. I ENJOY THE WORK AND LEARNING NEW STUFF BUT THE PRODUCE MANGER WAS VERY MEAN. LOVED THE EXPERIENCE AND TALKING TO CUSTOMERS AND THE OTHER PRODUCE CLERKS BUT THE MANGERS WAS SO RUDE I END UP GOING TO MY PREVIOUS DEPARTMENT AND I AM HAPPY. PRODUCE IS GREAT, TONS OF WORK TO DO, CLEAN BUT WHEN A MANGER SCREAMS AT YOU TO WORK FASTER AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ROTATION AND NO BREAK OR LUNCH BREAK IN A 9 HOUR SHIFT? I HAD TO LEAVE

@@sifugurusensei the produce manger married one of the store manager daughter. Nobody gets a lunch break or a 15 break. So we all eat after our 9 hour shift.
I'm quitting my job as a produce clerk because it's too hard for me. Heavy lifting. Not being able to see attention to detail. I seriously think I have ADD
@@sifugurusensei just ask ur store manger for a transfer to a different department. halfway through my shift as a produce clerk i left and talked to the customer care department manger and ask him i want to work for him as a cashier. he said if the store manger said yes then yes. he said yes. i remember the customer service manger told me to have a lunch break and i went to the lunch room and then the produce manger started screaming at me at the top of her lungs to go back to work. i laugh and i told her i transfered departments. she made such a scene the customer service manger told me just to go home for today and come back in the morning. enjoyed working there as a cashier. dont quit. just ask for a transfer to a different department

As a produce clerk I laughed when he said new product coming in is a good thing. It is annoying to make changes to tables and displays. I work wet rack so I'm okay the wall rarely changes looks like he is too.
It’s necessary though, as a grocery clerk, our end caps change weekly and it not only promotes product, but increases sales.

I remember training for Produce and they sent me to another department. I was bummed because the pay was pretty good. The position I’m working now doesn’t pay me shit.

@@MyKonaRC lot of heavy lifting in a tall stacked boxes which to me was disorganized. I was also confused about what to with bad veggies. I was confused all the time. And manager said I should know how to do thinngs.
