TideWe MAX5 Neoprene Wader Review | Best Cheap Hunting Waders

- The TideWe MAX5 Neoprene Waders may be the best entry level cheap hunting wader on the market. These are impressively high quality for what they cost and are a great option for new hunters. The material is durable, the boots are warm, they are very comfortable, totally waterproof, they have reinforced high wear areas, and have numerous nice features. For the money, these are very nice waterfowl hunting waders for almost any time of the duck season. I was impressed.

These waders have insulated boots with 800g of Thinsulate. They have shell holders, a dry internal pouch, a rain proof external pouch, handwarmer pockets and more. TideWe really designed a nice piece of gear when they put these waders together. #goosehunting #duckhunting #waterfowlhunting. TideWe provided the items tested and reviewed in this video at my request, thanks to them for their support.

Thank you George! I already ordered a pair! $90!!!!! Dont mind if I do! Thank you! Yes waders that keep you dry are the best lol!
Haha, awesome man! Hard to beat them!
I bought a pair of these at the end of last season and have worn them deer hunting and duck hunting and they have performed flawlessly. I have absolutely zero bad things to say about them at any price point but at around $100 they are a no brainer.
Right on!
I have had the 600g chest waders going on its second season of hunting now. I don't waterfowl, but use them to deer hunt when i float to some spots. I put them through a lot also and they're holding up just fine. I did size down based upon the website recommendation and how i like my boots to fit. They've been great and i don't see them wearing out any time soon!
Awesome, thanks for the feedback!
Good info. I have a pair of Rogers neoprene waders that I like that are 100 bucks. They have lasted 3 seasons so far. May have to check out tidewe next time I’m in the market for waders 👍🦆
3 seasons is great at that price point!
Thanks for the review. I had just ordered these waders the day before watching. Wish I had waited one more day to get the discount code :)
I hope they work great for you!
My pair 800gr neoprene are on year 4. Got a 2nd pair just because. Also know several other people 2-3yrs no issues.
That is exactly the kind of longevity I am hoping for. Thanks!
Good to have options, God bless you and go get them in the marsh.
Thanks so much Jeff!
Im thinking if getting these for deer hunting in the swamp
Well, I haven't tried that, but I imagine they'd work as good as anything else.
I was looking at these, but a lot of the reviews indicated a lot of quality control issues out of the box. Maybe I'll give them a shot though.
I didn't notice a single thing to even pick at. Old batch maybe?
Unfortunately here in Canada because companies think that we're super rich these waders cost me 167.00 dollars with taxes. I got them from Amazon.
Ouch, I'm sorry!
Great video. It's good to know honest opinions on different options. Are you allowed to say how long the promo code lasts?
Thanks! I have no idea actually. They didn't say.
I'm in!
Ha, thanks!
Are the boot sizes true size or do they run a little bigger or smaller?
I wear an 11 in everything, and that gives me enough room for a massive wool sock, these match that across the board. They fit about the same as a Muck boot.
Good review
Thanks so much!
Done
Thanks!
I treat waders as consumables. You just know they gunna get cut by barbed wire sooner or later. Thanks George.
I have the same philosphy, thanks so much!
You may have just sold me on these I’ve been browsing their website and Amazon section for a month now. I’m new to the waterfowl world, is it wise to purchase a size larger. I wear a size 11 boot should I buy a size 12 wader??
….and I just learned TideWe doesn’t ship to Canada, no discount, oh well, first pair of waders on the way. Thank you Amazon
I bought the same size I normally wear. One size up might be fine, but I don't think its needed.
Well, at least they are still fairly cheap anyway!
Unfortunately, these days even the expensive stuff is cheap...
Sometimes. Which is why you need to be real sure before shelling out $1000 for a pair of waders when you could buy 11 pairs of these. I'm pretty the 11 of these will last much longer.
I’m trying to order mine now. How tall are you and what size are you wearing in this video? Let me know, so I can try to order mine in the correct sizing on the the first try’s
I'm 5' 9", I tend to wear size 11 boots and size large in everything.

Okay. Sounds good.
I decided not to buy, only because as another viewer said, they are way too long. The company shooed have made a regular and long length to choose from and not only shoe size.
Sure, whatever works for you@@videogazer801 that is probably one of the ways they keep the price down, fewer SKU's. Add a length option and you need twice as many products. So the cost of returns is probably lower than the cost of lost sales from raising prices to give more options.

Fortunately, it’s also good that one viewer posted that comment as to inform others that they are too long to avoid the headache for others.
Imagine being 5’6” with a size 11 shoe and buying one of these.
Yea, I could see that as being problematic. @@videogazer801
Wish I would have known about them 6 months ago when I bought mine
There is always next time around. But you're will probably perform very well.
I have a hard time pulling the trigger on tidewe. My cousin bought a pair not 5min into the hunt started leaking. Also plenty of stories of sticks going right thru their knee high boots.
Well, that hasn't been my experience, that's about all I can say. I haven't had anything from them yet that broke or underperformed. I do wonder if the older stuff was lower grade than the newer stuff, but I've only used newer stuff so far. I didn't discover them until earlier this year.
