I was of the same view, but they've been lying through their teeth since the 80's saying they've got double the oil reserves. They tried to break European football last year to have ridiculously overpaid stars play to less than 3000 people. LIV golf, Newcastle united, possibly try for snooker world finals, the line (all 1 mile of it now!) my point is, let mbs spend so much money that once there's only enough to make the massive yardarm for that ridiculously sized family, after they've all danced on the end of a rope the Saudis can set up their form of government (hopefully separating church and state but i doubt it, you can't stop stupid I'm afraid) and then we can all quietly buy back the stuff they vastly overpaid for at probably a lot less than market value...

Somehow these get funnier and funnier. As far as the Shows in Saudi I don't have much of an issue with them. Lately they've gotten better as was today's PPV.
I can understand why people don't like these shows but the deal was 10 years, two per year. I doubt Trips signs to continue it but we are still years away from it ending. I just accept it for what it is plus it's at 6pm UK time so it has that in its favour 😅

I had honestly hoped with Vince gone, WWE would start to cut ties with the Saudi shows, but it looks like that isn't the case. In fact, the Summer Slam 2-Night event, makes me worry in 2026 we are getting the real Saudi WrestleMania. I said a few times already, AEW this week looked like a full-on Parody of Spaceballs. Even with Tony Khan playing Dark Helmet with his dolls. The Bucks as the Dink-Dinks. Jericho is the worst version of Yogurt and Moxley playing Barf. We say someone gets JAMMED and even a Flamethrower. We continue to see the Bucks running people off, and Mercedes vs Willow is going to be a trainwreck. The crowd is going to turn on Mercedes at the PPV and she's going to have one of her legendary tantrums.
GREAT 🔔 episode but I have to subtract one star for being in the Jeddah Super Dome. 4.75 stars 👍

Under NORMAL circumstances, it would be inappropriate to tell another country what to do. HOWEVER, there are some exceptions when horrible atrocities demands that SOMEONE steps in and tells them to knock it off. Headless corpses being one of them (and despite their claims of only punishing criminals, in reality a lot of innocent people have gotten punished), along with a laundry list of other horrible stuff. There is a reason why all the WWE women wrestlers are forced to wear full body suits when wrestling there. You don't want to know what they will do if one of the female wrestlers is showing even a TINY amount of something they don't like.
