Oh god please no, don’t let this feature get added to all servers
the only thing they had to do was
1- give for events to give heads and arrows/treaties
2- a store to exchange gold heads
3-GIVE MORE ELIXER HEALING FOR MORE OPEN FIELD PVP.

This will make the game into the same alt account meta that rok is, the idea of lowering everyones troop counts is flawed with that every major kingdom will just have hundreds of alt accounts that throw troops into rallies and garrisons.
they still don't stop turning COD to ROK omg. I love the open field fighting and building/destroying mechanism, it requires strategies and coordination, and gives weaker side a chance to defend (like at choke point). If rally/garrisoning flags, the weak side just stands no chance
true. I don't understand why they want to copy everything from Rok. Some Rok players basically left Rok for Cod to experience new and better type of game. From home realm now rally/garrison. Day by day it made me wanna stop spending in this Rok rip off game.
If they implement this I will not only quit, but will go on a campaign to make as many people quit as possible, and put negative publicity about the game everywhere I can.
Really interesting that they're considering adding this to COD now. I think we can probably use Occam's razor to figure out why they're doing this: ROK has consistently gotten 3x more web traffic and YT traffic than COD for the past 12 months globally. At this point they're probably just throwing in the towel and saying "fine we'll make it like ROK" since that's statistically more popular. Definitely an unfortunate change for those that prefer the COD mechanics, but maybe their test will go poorly and they'll scrap the idea. Glad to see you're still covering the game dude!
Hey Mr. Friendly face. One of the things I would love for them to do is actually have conversations with the community to understand where we are coming from instead of the linear approach of mainly relying on text or suggestions. Gotta keep putting my work in. Maybe we'll get you to come back over eventually

You know me, Mr reasonable 😏. Though there actually has been an opportunity already presented for something like this, I just hope they do more and continue to expand, as the potential to reach greater heights is there. Can give up if you enjoy the fame and want it to be the best version of itself. Even if it is a reach, I'd like to still believe in putting my best food forward.

I'm T4 and I'm looking forward to the fact that I might be able to show up in the open field with my troops a few times if I'm not completely destroyed by T5 and the already high hospital costs. I certainly won't put my T4 troops in a flag/garrison just so that T5 can rally in there and I permanently lose troops. It's just to force people to invest money even more... Come up with something better than that nonsense...
Did the CoD dev team ever see and listen to what community want ? Like wtf is this? Frpm thousands of features that community wrote and vote in Discord, they chose to just copy Rok. From Home Realm to now this Rally/Garrison. We want new things not the same things. The lack of worthy events and features in CoD is really worrysome.
Theres one thing you need to keep in mind. Players gather troops numbers over time with little way to kill them. More ways to kill troops more income for Lilith.
As a ROK player that has been playing for a long time, this system will just not work on COD.
ROK gives you a ton of training speedups from killing barbs ( darklings ), and also give a ton of speedups from golden chests.
When this game came out, I immediately felt that it was harder for people to obtain troops than ROK.
You get a ton of troops dead in rise of kingdoms, but it is viable because there is a huge income as well.
I oppose this system for this reason, it is not viable under COD systems

I wouldnt mind being able to rally towers, but only with no deaths to both sides. Perhaps if the rally succeeds the cap for demolition is increased by 100% until it is repaired by the alliance or destroyed. I would say if they go this route only have deaths when defending a Fortress, thats a unique special building it makes sense but doing it for each tower is crazy!
The only type of rally I can accept is a tower rally, which would destroy buildings faster but without dead units.
Rallies are enforcing more field fighting. A rally makes no sense if you don't have field control. Especially with COD having ranged troops. These troops will just all pile on the rally having it take massive casualties. So the idea is you fight for control of the field. So you can launch a rally.
Then theres the f2p idea. If done right rallies and garrisons favors low spenders and f2p's because their troops get the power of the person launching. (depends on how COD implements this)
Then there's the tactical aspect. This should add so many more strategies and stuff for leadership teams to learn. It's going to be a 2 year learning process.
Was it needed? probably not but they have to implement something to keep the biggest spenders feeling relevant
Also maybe they preparing for something bigger like Kingdom vs kingdom in COD style?

Great video Boss! I think the rally system would be fun but it has to be done with only sevs not deaths! You brought up a lot of great points especially how incurring deaths will cause the game to stagnate and hinder the potential of future kvks. The one possible upside of adding rallies would be the potential of drawing in more rok players however I'll say again it has to be done with sevs and not deaths!
Idk if this is the way to do it but there has to be a way to kill troops. If there isn’t there will be way to many overbloated accounts soon. I think it is a little too soon for something like this though. There’s also way to many rally/garrison commanders in the game to not have some way to rally/garrison. It could work if destroyers still acted like normal but they just added a way to defend and attack them. There would still be open field fighting to stop or defend burners. They would have to give us way more training speeds though to retrain dead troops.
You don’t have to kill troops. There are many other mechanics to keep accounts from overbloating. They could for instance add maintenance of troops. The more you have the harder it is to maintain them like in real life. The part of army you don’t want to pay you could for instance send for reserves which would make them semi inactive, etc.
If they add this to the game not only will I quit I will be refunding every dime I spent. As a big whale in this game the idea that I could train troops and not lose them was a huge motivation for me to spend what I have spent.

completely agree with you on this one. Clear money grab from the makers, I bet the devs hate this change too... As to the motivation I know for a fact it is to make pushing troops really matter again. In rok some of their biggest packs and money grabs are surrounded by training lots of troops. Whereas for the average player in cod you do not have to do this. I spend around $250 per month in the game and I am still only 70 million power. Just spending on pets, and daily stuff. Now my true power (if I used all my speeds) would be around 103 million but there is no rush for me to push until a major event because of the healing in the game. Whereas now if I were losing troops non stop because of swarming flags and rally/garrison I would need to train a lot more which means buying more packs that I wouldnt of needed to do before. Just to win kvks.
i do love the idea of being able to rally flags, but no deaths for the love of god no deaths especially 35/50% ratio *,*
but rallies ( without deaths ) are more F2P friendly though, u have few spenders in ur alliance u let them rally u get their stats bonuses in the rally.
I think rallies are undervalued on cod, but thats not the way to fix it..
the thing i would do is make it so that keeps can be rallied, not towers, not forts, just keeps.
to make it more strategic we could have keeps "protect" towers on its range, so alliances can strategically place keeps. those rallies should also not kill troops. leave the deaths only to cities and passes..
Including myself so many player will stop spending and quit the game if they brought this future, if I want those futures I would play RoK not CoD. Companies should learn from their mistakes and listen to people who supports them by actually paying this game.
Definitely quitting if this happens. Bad sign for the future that they are even considering/testing this.

This feels like a sh’t idea. I think a lot of players came to CoD to not have this. Just a straight up bad idea to have anything in the game that destroys more troops.
Yeah, I might quit if they implement this on all servers. I wish the devs would cease and desist from turning this game into Rise of Kingdoms. 🙄
aweful decision if they add it permanently. You alienate everyone who isn't a kraken, and potentialy those as well.
The only reason i started playing this game is due to the lack of deaths. I am already wasting my real life money playing this game so deaths = just dumb. may as well just burn my cash than spend it on COD.

They do need to make Garrison more relevant. But this isnt going to work.
Open field fighting is what makes the game fun. These morons are getting truckload of money and still looking for ways to screw us up even more? If they implement anything like this, I hope we see a massive number of players quitting - I will be one of them.
