It is unbelieveable how many moments I have had with this wonderful family through 55 years. I am forever thankful. I have not said it, but in Norway I got an A+ for my book about The Osmonds in school. I got bullied so much for this so I didn`t bring the book with me further. As I grew up on a childrenshome from I was born till I was 16 - I had to fight so much. They did not take away my love for you and your music. I think you are the reason I survived the messy childrenhome. Wish I had that book I made. I was so proud - The Proud One (one of my favorite song) Just how sad to think about how children can destroy each other. Can`t get it back, but since then Ytube came in my older days and I am able to enjoy you more. Thank you, Dave - your family fills my heart
Not to drag up bad, old memories, but I do wonder, WHY were they bullying out about the Osmond's in Norway? Are they unpopular there?
@@jimquantic We are a country with only 5 mill people, the arena was not big enough I guess :-( Another thing is when I grew up - it was expected to follow the flow and like what everybody else liked in school - otherwise you got bullied out. Very sad. A lot loved the Osmonds here, but did not dare to say so because they are mormons. I was so sad for this and stood up against them bullies. You wore suppose to like what everybody else liked. Not me. Thank you for asking - m biggest dream is to meet them
I know so little of your country--the country of my ancestry (the Stormo's) and did not know there was any feeling towards the Mormon's there. But I am learning just a bit, and will visit there, one day. I am always sad to hear of anyone, anywhere who was bullied--people even lose their life this way. So wrong. I owe my love of the Osmonds to my oldest cousin, we both loved music but I wasn't budging from Elvis then one day Debbie said Kel listen to this, it was long before PUPPY LOVE and I was just hooked, I swear if you can be addicted to anything anything make sure you're addicted to the Osmonds, obviously in a certain age grouping Donny reigns supreme, surprisingly his greatest hits aren't my favourites

My mother and I used to have the original VHS of the show for so long! And unfortunately it got damaged a few years ago and I’ve been searching for this ever since because my mother and I loved this performance! Now I can watch it in its entirety in her memory! I think it is about time The Osmonds, Donny and Marie, Jimmy, the family gets the recognition they deserve for long time giving us everything by be granted a reward. There are artists in Kennedy center who has had nothing but one hit or two who gets rewarded. Not fair at all. Here are The Osmonds and there wore Jackson 5 when I grew up. Isn`t it about time these dedicated, "fossiles" -sorry hahahaha gets the award they deserve for being with us, giving us their all through so many years? Just sayin

At the time I didn't appreciate how talented they all were. Bay City Rollers or Osmonds? Catch their heyday on CZcams & it'll surprise you. Merrill had a voice that matched McCartney's rockin' style. Sad to see there was a cost. They can still harmonise like the Beach Boys did
