So this poor man was not only sexually abused from a young age, he’s then bullied and tormented at school and grows into an adult thinking he’s worthless. Then add the pain of him not able to say good bye to his dying mother. On top of this, he’s humiliated again on TLC when he’s called a 650 lb virgin! Did the show not now his back story?? They probably didn’t care. I’m praying he can heal from all this trauma and find his self love

Can relate. when u feel like u are so alone the only thing there for you is food. It is an addiction just like any drug and I struggle daily with it. I’ve had weight issues my whole life. So far I’m down 33 lbs in 6 months and I’m not stopping :) I wish him the best!

Denial is a lot more dangerous than addiction. There are a lot of available resources he can use to get treatment but he instead ignored the issue. By the way, keep up the good work and I hope you get down to your goal weight.
AaronP11 Is that really necessary? This man is going on one of the biggest television shows around the world to tell everyone he failed and to ask for help. I guarantee most of us couldn’t or wouldn’t do the same. Whatever his reasons are, why not just encourage him to do better for himself and leave it at that.
I can't say I had an addiction but love food. I've been on my journey seriously the last 4 yrs. I work out 6 days a week. It's a habit, an obsession for me now. I walk/hike 6 days, lift weights 3 times a week the other 3 core and thigh workouts. There are days I wish I had the perfect bod. But the high I get taking care myself outweighs that now. I don't have to take insulin now. Keep up the great work.

When he started to cry because he didn't get to say goodbye to his mother dying of cancer, I felt that. my mother also passed away from cancer, but I did get my goodbye. I can't imagine not being able to. :(

I have an aunt who weighs around 250 lbs or something. She struggles to walk and getting up from her chair is challenging. He must be in so much pain all day.
250 lbs isn't even that extreme unless she's really short. My step mother died from obesity. She was 500 lbs when she died but had lost 100lbs in the year before.

I relate to this man beyond belief. although i haven’t lost my mum, i too was molested at a young age, bullied, mocked and i’ve struggled with my weight ever since i was a tiny little baby because not only is it genetical, as i grew older i developed a binge eating disorder. then after a few years i developed anorexia and lost insane amounts of weight to the point i ate 1 tiny yogurt a day with 1 coffee and maybe if i was lucky i’d have a glass of water or 2. this man is truly a beautiful one and he deserves every bit of help he gets. i relate to him on such a personal level and i hate seeing him struggling like that because i know that’s how i am. i hate seeing people go through things i went through. i hope he finds his way ❤️

Its crystal clear what this man is doing. He is making himself unavailable both emotionally and physically quite literally by building walls around himself with his weight. The only way he can get over this is by realizing that he did NOTHING wrong and that those people were the ones with evil intentions and messed up minds. Then he can finally start to heal.
