Do you get preference of choosing different types of accommodation?

Sorry, i have no idea😅
I am looking forward to getting an offer letter in January, 2023 but university didn't respond yet
Can you please let me know how many more days require university to send an offer for an international student.
Thanks in advance
Sorry, i might not able to help, you must be frustrated but Hallam normally process things quite slowly
This university is really amazing, i wish if i can study there 🥺
Go ahead 🤍
Hi , it’s really glad to see you successful transferred from INTI Malaysia to Sheffield Hallam university , so may I know how much CGPA do you got when you transferred , Do you have any suggestions or advice for the students who also wants to transfer to there ?
Hi! Thank youu! My CGPA is around 3-3.33. Honestly I forgot cause ai took an extra semester during the gap year. In terms of advice I would say decide as soon as possible and apply for it! And find an agent outside, dont rely on INTI ones
@@zh3505 it’s sounds like INTI is unreliable ,hahaha, may I know which agent you found outside , is it AUG?
@@Arvinchen2022 yeah, there is another one, do u mind if u give me ur insta, i can send h his contact details
@@zh3505 yeah, of course, that is : arvin_chen_2022
hello! i’m a future student here. where would you advise to stay? is the forge a good place? thanks!
Yeap, it is a very good place, i will have a video out soon about the forge. In terms of rooms, it is very spacious and comfortable. In terms of location, it is in front of Aldi (cheap& big grocery store) and it is near London road which have a variety of different restaurants!
just to add on from an ex student, its 10/10 over there
You should make more vlogs
I am planning to start studying there in Jan 2023. Wish me good luck. ♥
Glad that you will be coming over!! Goodluck!🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hey. If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for you to get an offer letter once you've applied in SHU? And also, did you receive any email regarding confirmation of application submission once you've applied?
Nice vlog, quick question tho, whered you get that backpack man cos thats cool, im actually joining SHU later this year and i cant wait
Thanks! Thats great, hope you have a safe flight here! The sling back is actually from TaoBao AKA Aliexpress at western country
@@zh3505 thankyou so much, ill be sure to do a vlog of when i arrive and ill probs sort my meals like you
Hey. If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for you to get an offer letter once you've applied in SHU? And also, did you receive any email regarding confirmation of application submission once you've applied?
@@Iilaciu93 usually it can take a month or two, depending on when you apply, if recommend checking ucas to see if there is an offer or check your post to see if you have received a letter, if you dont hear anything soon id hughly suggest phoning up
@@sagemage329 alright. I'm worried coz I applied in August for Jan 2024 intake and still haven't heard back. Thanks a ton for replying. I will call them and check.
Just wanted to know how many international students are there for studying physiotherapy in your class, btw nice video..
Thanks! There is alot, interms of asian there are 4 of us in a class. This course got 7 classes in a year so I am not sure about other international student in other classes
Bro how is the university, any idea about biomedical science course and scope there ?!!
Hi! The university is fantastic, it is very welcoming and active in terms of student activities. Sadly I don’t know anyone from biomedical science
Hiii I am currently deciding whether I should study physiotherapy in the UK.
May I ask how demanding the course was for you? Like how much time do you spend on studying on average/ before exams? This would help a lot thank you
Hey! in this specific uni, it is not as demanding as compare with what I heard from other Uni. They focus alot more on placement which you basically spend 6-8weeks there 4 times in the spent of 3 years. I will say I only spend time to study when there is assignemnt to be completed, which porbably will be average 4 hours a day before i apss it up. It is quite a demanding job in the UK at the moment
@@zh3505 thank youu 🤩
Hows your experience studying in hallam.. and hows the monthly cost of living needed? Malaysian too!
Heyyy! the Uni is pretty felxible in terms of what i am studying. The living cost will be around 400 for accoms, 300 for food groceries and transport (if you cook mostly by yourself). This is the rough budget for a month
Niceeeee I’m also in the Forge, except your curtains are far nicer than mine 😆
Ohh wow hii! I thought mine was not that good but didnt know they have worst ones, btw may I ask if you are staying at level 5? I am very curious about the view😂
@@zh3505 I’m notttt! I’m on level 3 but I’m on the complete opposite side to you, I have been in some floor 5 flats though, overlooking the courtyard, it’s very nice!
@@youtubetimestamps6165 that seems good! Haha can u see my room from there?
@@zh3505 ahh Idon’t think so… my room looks over a backstreet but, the rooms in which I’ve been that look over the court yard are D block, which faces C, B and A mainly. It’s crazy how big the Forge actually is!
@@youtubetimestamps6165 yeahh! so many blocks!
Anyone for MSc construction project management from Sheffield hallam University?
Brother... I am planning to come there in sep 2023 intake... Could u please give some info about job market about CPM and feedback on SHU uni for CPM... Please reply 🙏
What kind of accomodation do you have?
Student accommodation with 3 room and a shared kitchen
Does this university accepts dulingo English test for masters?
Sorry for the late reply but i dont think so, they only accept IELTS of what i know so far
Hii This is Dishi here
I got an offer letter from sheffield regarding physiotherapy intake jan 2023.
I would love to know whether working there as a part-time job can we physiotherapy internship without HCPC license and how much do we earn thru this internship.
Looking forward for your answer☺️
Hi! Nice to hear from you! We generally cant practice any physiotherapy work without HCPC license, what we can do as a physio internship without the license is to do observation or shadowing the qualified physio in the hospitals or clinic. I am not sure about the payment but i doubt that we will get paid by observing😅
Hey. If you don't mind, how long did it take for you to get an offer letter once you've applied in SHU? And also, did you receive any email regarding confirmation of application submission once you've applied?
Hihi, I'm from Malaysia too. Currently doing some research regarding which university to study in the UK. Would I ask which university did you go when you were in Malaysia before going to the UK?
Hi joshua! I went to INIT nili university, for physiotherapy programme they have a2+2 transfer to sheffield to study
Would have been nice to hear more about what kind of classes you have that day, what content you covered throughout the day.
Cause this video i just want to focus on the student life. In terms of what we studied, is always around the 3 subject which is MSK, Neuro and CVR. For that day I think we analyse the normal posture of human when sitting, lying and standing.
Hi ZH .Nice video..we are also planning in Sheffield hallam in Jan 2023..can you tell us what is best and cheapest accomodation to live in Sheffield?
Hi! I would say IQ fenton for now, slightly below £100 per week, there are cheaper ones but i think this one is so far the best for price and location and facilities. But I am not sure if the price will change for next year

Hey is that a common kitchen?
Yeap
Ok, can I get any seperate house for around 150 per week near SHU?
@@lokeshvenkatachalam7698 i think thats quite possible, I am not sure how to find houses yet but its depends on where is your class, if it is near city campus or collegiate campus

Hello I've applied for master in specialist physiotherapy program.. are you living in a uni hall ?
Hi! Yes it is consider part of uni halls, but i didnt book through uni as it is slightly mor expensive
Oh okay so how did you book it?

Hi
Are pets allowed in your hostel?
Unfortunately it is not allowed
Hey.. I'm joining SHU for Jan 2024 intake. Does anyone want to share a private accommodation with me? All nationalities are welcomed. The cheaper, the better.
Hello. Even I'm joining for the course in Jan 2023
Hi, where are you from? Which course ?
May I ask is there lots of Chinese students in your uni ?? 🤔🤔
Sorry for this awkward question....... But for my own preference, I would like to consider uni with less chinese speaking students which somehow force me to speak more english and to integrate with local students.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’m also wondering too!
from what i've heard, there are less chinese students there. Have you gotten an offer yet? I'm looking for roommates for Jan 2024 intake if you're interested :)
