The fact that mamamax was so close to capturing a predator from an anonymous commentor just for CZcams to delete the video with the comment that contained the information is one of the most horrible things CZcams has ever done.
EDIT: It seems that there has been a misunderstanding, the comment wasn't in the deleted video. It was literally in the comment section.

Since currency was first created, it was laid in stone that anyone with the most money can buy their way out of consequences. This is not surprising behavior. Before there were corporations, there were nobles. Nobles who had the most money and rep of them all, only less to royals, were known to do unethical, shady things but because of their money and reputation, the government turned a blind eye. Sad but true; money does buy you happiness and a free get-out-prison-card. Well maybe not the free part. Give up a few mill and you're golden. Oh btw this isn't a rant about "down with capitalism". I’m pretty sure the reason why CZcams tries to cover these videos up is because they’re worried about their site having a bad reputation because they’re worried that if there’s people talking about creepy people on the platform, then it’ll damage their reputation, which I understand but I personally think you’d have a better reputation by terminating the channels of the creeps than covering up the videos exposing them.
It's kind of like when bad things happen at schools and the school district tries to cover it up instead of recognizing it

We need to start holding CZcams accountable somehow, and we should also start looking at alternate platforms. There's DLive, Twitch, Bitchute, and Rumble for starters. Keep this going, CZcams as a company needs to get dragged through the mud for this type of behavior.

What's also unfair about forcing CZcamsrs to talk about this sort of thing is that this is a very sensitive and emotionally charged subject that's very triggering for people. They may be victims themselves or know people who are victims, and as a result, rightfully apprehensive to even thinking about it, let alone talking about it. This isn't your normal type of scandal. This is a scandal centered around a crime that causes PTSD, and is so heinous that it's arguably the worst crime any human being could ever commit. People need to slow down before they start throwing accusations around. Calling someone a pp is not a small accusation.
Right, I understand why they're doing this. But tossing accusations around is just too far. Throwing them around is just going to exacerbate the situation.
If the CSA victims who came to MamaMax can speak up about their abuse in the hopes of putting a predator behind bars then I think a possible creator who is also a CSA victim can come out and give some form of support for MamaMax.

I fell like the problem is that CZcams doesn’t need to respond well. Even when these controversies happen, people still view, which is the only thing that they care about. Because their isn’t a alternative to CZcams, CZcams will get views no matter what. This isn’t a problem with CZcams, it’s a problem with monopolies like Google who can mess with anything they want for their own benefit. At the rate we are at, CZcams will pull views even if they have more and bigger controversies. This hashtag doesn’t help because it only solves hath of the problem. It sets up the ball but doesn’t roll it. But I’m glad their doing the most that they can.
This is extremely dangerous… the community’s reaction to such conflicting matters can also give CZcams the alleyway to do something completely unpleasant and expected again…

Let me ask you, pretend you work, you have a good-paying job, nothing is threatening your work, Then a protest happens for a division of your company that you don't even work for. you get told if you participate in this protest you will be fired. You have 2 choices, risk the job you spent 10+ years developing, or continue working.
Then because you aren't in a state where you are comfortable risking getting fired (or banned) The leader of the protest makes a public statement about you, how your silence and refusal to participate along with others are supporting the other division's negative morals, when that is, in fact, not the case in the slightest.
Now The public and your co-workers are pressuring you to participate, and if you don't they most likely will drive you out.

Honestly I think a majority of the "censorship" or "suppression" is due to the anti-harrassment policy and of course the utter neglence on CZcams's part. Remember, bots look at videos, not humans. The humans that DO look at videos are usually VERY PC and dont take kindly to harrassment, so.... yeah.... Thats just my headcanon there.
The really bad thing is that if this controversy starts another adpocalypse in January a month that is already infamous among creators for being the month where ad revenue is the lowest due to December holiday spending and this controversy can cause them to loose more money and it wouldn't be thier fault. I get that this terrible situation needs to be taken care of but you also need to be careful with covering it due to CZcams overreacting and the lowest ad revenue month is coming soon.
What if content creators don't upload for the whole month of January so CZcams can't get their ad revenue from views as a form of boycott?

Honestly Im kind of in agreement with charlie about this in that the point of the video was completely right but the end and the hashtag on twitter kind of is cringey and just kind of muddies the issue a lot. A lot seem to just be taking the hashtag to mean that youtube literally is protecting predators on its site instead of what this actually is in that their awful rules taking down videos talking about those bad things or demonitizing them and anyone not jumping on right away is being treated like a predator which is just dumb.
There is good intentions but the twitter campaign doesn't look very well thought through and has accomplished going viral but at the cost of a bunch of people not fully understanding or otherwise going off on the wrong people

I don't mean to play devil's advocate here, but I've got an opinion.
Why is it imperative that there are videos made to "expose" someone? Half the time, these videos aren't taken very seriously (unless they're made by creators like MamaMax) or they're just ignored altogether. And this isn't just because of the CZcams algorithm. People just don't like discussing these topics (not that that's a good thing). If you really believe you have enough evidence that you can confidently say that a person is a monster, you can report them to the FBI or the Dubai Police or whatever police organization you wish.
If you really did have enough evidence, then you won't have to say, "They should honestly be behind bars." You'll be able to say, "They are behind bars." Your motivation should not, I repeat, should not be to monetize a horrible situation. That says a lot about your character if it is your goal. In fact, that's why I only watch MamaMax on rare occasions. I personally believe he's in the business of monetizing tragedies. Instead, you should be making the videos as documentation or additional evidence. The "pick a side youtube" video looks a lot like MamaMax is taking advantage of the [rightful] hatred of the demonization system to, willingly or not, start an adpocalypse.

I would agree but other news sources and small time indi company's cover and make money on this stuff and have for decades. So I can't agree with you. If they can do it so can a CZcams creators. It's still the same community of people just the information is running through a new median of travel. Eliminate the big wigs from making money on this and then I would agree, other wise no way.
@@D9xAbstract I don't see how you disagree with me. I never specified CZcams creators. News sources can demonetize themselves, too (they won't but that's beside the point). In fact, news sources are part of the prevalence of mass-shooters in the USA, because they guarantee the shooter that they are seen and guarantee they become famous.

YT has to defend predators because where else are they going to get moderators and CEO's?
this is so frustrating. advertisers should want their ads on videos where peoples idols educate and inform them. exposing these things is essential. children, if they are on the internet, need to know these things. they need to know people have their back if something happens that makes them uncomfortable. these issues aren't going away. companies need to get with the times. it makes them look worse to do this to creators.
Not only that, CZcams is also keeping content creators who promote scams and child gambling... the fact that this exists shows that we truly live I'm a society

Yeah, I've watched Anxiety War got awhile. The reason he stopped alot was BC CZcams was censoring him for over a year. It's sad they'll side with Predators... And not CZcamsrs who expose Predators (not ones like the guys who went after EDP, who were apparently caught doing shady stuff).

Just when I thought youtube couldn’t get any lower. They terminated my old account in which they gave no reason as to why especially since I didn’t have any copyright or guideline strikes and they wouldn’t give it back to me when i requested it but they’re penalizing people for exposing pedophiles.
