does the rubber thingy being gone make the water hotter? I think I may be having an all around water pressure issue at this new apt... because my washer is having issues but my shower is awfully hot and seems to have a very narrow range of temp variance... it's either cold or REALLY HOT and sometimes it randomly changes.
the removal of the oring did nothing for my pressure. So would you say that there is no control on the valve itself, like the hot/cold, for the adjustment of water pressure?
I would try shaking it back-and-forth back-and-forth until it loosens up but it must come straight out if worse comes to worse you can cut it with an angle grinder to get the handle off but do not cut the cartridge take your time and go slow I hope this helps

Can you lower the water pressure by using the handle on this system if you want to reduce the flow from the diverter spout🤔?

That washer inside the nozzle is for higher pressure as well. If you take that out that will not increase the pressure.

I have the same setup. I need to find a new cartridge. Is that a Gerber cartridge? Any idea of the part/model number? Much appreciated.

u might have a flow restricter inside your shower head looks like a plastic ring down inside where it threads onto the shower

Go to the hardware store buy both sets kinds it will cost you $20 for metric and what ever the other one is called you will have every size
