    Just got mine yesterday, it is awesome, came in quick, NC to southern Cali in 4 days, and it is a huge upgrade from my $7 daisy p52, it is surprisingly easy to get used to shooting a pinch grip with this, i was also concerned with frame wack since it has a smaller fork gap than my daisy but i have had no problems with it at all thank you guys! The lanyard is a nice touch as well

    Finally got this frame to try out. I banded it up in the intended figuration and found the grip rather awkward. Gripping it backwards felt more secure and comfortable. To each their own I suppose haha!

      That’s how the Torque is. Both styles have their die hard following!!

      I had the same problem.
      Was really looking forward to getting this frame, then when I finally did I really didn't like it either way.
      I've banded it different ways, added a grip wrap but I just can't get to liking it.

    I bought a Torque, and it is a cool little shooter,as is, but It did not fit my hand, the way I thought it would, so, I took my Dremel to it ,and now it is much better... Made the window even across, three finger grooves, bigger hole in rear for pinky and a couple of pinch grip grooves upper and lower. Still plenty strong, but just comes on target so easily, with a good strong grip. Way more ergonomic, ha...

    do the tubes go over the top of the forks or on the inside of the forks?

    • @simpleshot
      @simpleshot  Před 6 lety +1

      Over the top. Definitely not around the forks on the Torque!

      I've shot my torque TTF using flip clips with no problems whatsoever. They actually work perfectly to lock the bands in place if you rotate the clips at roughly 45° angle. I doubt they were designed for that purpose but still a fun fact

    • @simpleshot
      @simpleshot  Před 5 lety +1

      Yes, this frame is symetrical on each side, so it's ambidextrous. People also hold it with the handle up or down. Whichever works for you is best!

    Nathan, will the FlipClips work with the Torque?

  • @rubiconoutdoors3492

    Do the torque clips fill the 1 3/6's width ?

    • @simpleshot
      @simpleshot  Před rokem

      They do not. The Torque tips are 30mm and the FlipClips X are 26mm leaving 2mm on each side.

    Guys I have so many questions mainly with me being left handed so I aim with my left eye do all slingshots work with left or right handed shooters?

    • @simpleshot
      @simpleshot  Před 6 lety +2

      We sell ambidextrous slingshots. There are some ergo slingshots out there that are hand-specific, but the Torque (as shown in this video) is ambidextrous.
      If you aim with your left eye, you'll hold in your right hand, correct?

    • @mamajen1000
      @mamajen1000 Před 6 lety +1

      SimpleShot Shooting Sports yes I'll hold with my right hand my second question is do you slingshots come with bands installed?? I'm looking for something that can shoot paintballs under 300fps

    • @simpleshot
      @simpleshot  Před 6 lety

      All our slingshots come with bands . . .
      but we never ship with them installed for at least one of these two reasons:
      1. The bands are sealed in a UV protected bag for longevity. We keep all our bands sealed up as much as possible (they are only out of a sealed, UV protected environment during the process of being made, then it's right back in the bag). If they were installed, they'd not be protected.
      2. You need to tune your bands before installation. Unless (like the Torque) the slingshot comes with tubes, you MUST tune your bands to your draw. So you'd have to take them off to tune them, then reinstall anyhow.
      Check out our PRO TIPS series. We just uploaded several videos on band tuning.
      Band installation is a breeze with all our slingshots (tubes on a Torque, any band with FlipClips or any band with Ocularis)! :)

      OH, and indeed, you can shoot paintballs under 300fps. We shoot powderballs (very similar to paintballs) a LOT!
