Now why would the jews believe Jesus is God when Jesus seems like he doesn't know he is God.
If Jesus did claim he was a God(which he didn't) then the Jews would have every right to reject him as he would go against the concept of All mighty God the jews believe in. Alhamdulilah the Quran clears all this confusion up.
The passage John 17:3 does not state WHO is the eternal life. It states WHAT is eternal life. Eternal life is KNOWING the Father (the ONLY true God) and Jesus (the Christ God sent).
This means that to gain Salvation, the people of the time and all times to come have to proclaim:
"Father is the only true God. And Jesus is Christ sent by the Father."
This is very similar to the statement of Islam
"There is NO god but God. And Jesus Christ is the messenger of God"

When the christian said the verse : « this is eternal life that they may know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you sent ». It’s crystal clear that this means that there’s only one God(Allah) and jesus was a messenger who was sent to the people. He wasn’t God. And when the christian asked there is no such sentence that muslims say about the prophet muhammad pbuh. He is wrong cause we all said at least « There is no god but God (Allah) and muhammad is his messenger » it is exactly the same sentence it doesn’t mean that Jesus or muhammad are God but rather it means that the have eternal life (paradise) you must follow the messenger (jesus,muhammad and so on) and worship the only true God ( Allah).
Btw when Jesus spoke Aramaic. Christians should know that the word for God in aramaic is Allah. Please remember Jesus didn’t speak english
