Worse nightmare for the Oilers, they make their way past the preliminary round and face off against the stars. They have a one goal lead in the final minute of game 7 when they wiff on an empty netter and Dallas scores to tie it up late and eventually win in OT.

Honestly my worse case scenario for the habs would be winning versus Pittsburgh, thinking were a good team then getting swept in the second round by the bruins or the leafs, missing out on a top 10 potentially no 1 overall pick and the penguins winning the lottery. I would maybe cry if that happened

Thomas Gagné I’m a hab’s fan and I kinda want them to get knocked out in the play in rounds to have a chance at Laff, but at the same time I also want them to do good in the playoffs and possibly win the Stanley cup. Even if they get knocked in the play in rounds they won’t necessarily get laff but they should because they are the worst team in the playoffs point wise. Detroit was dead last and looked what happened 😂. I feel bad for wings fans. But do I really.

The Islanders scenario was pretty close
