- I'm considering a new front for my Burt Davyi Ficus and I have a beautiful Tokoname Pot for the tree. It's been two years since I last repotted it and I hope it has lots of roots. Spoiler...it didn't!

It's good that you explain your decisions for those that have just found you. Great work! You need to get your misting system going, just put mister nozzles around the temple.

Your BaoBab trees are really leafing out for you. Mine are still asleep, 2 that survived the winter, with one showing some green leaves starting.

To maintain the temple moist you must have a aquarium system. That may be the easiest way.
Es poco común que un ficus no haga muchas raíces. Seguramente, el clima o la situación de cultivo - como dices- no es la mas favorable. De todas maneras, tu trabajo por mantenerlo vivo y disfrutarlo, es grande.

I think that pot would be better suited for your serissa. Would match the flowers.

Can u Remove that angular leaning twin branches totally from trunk keeping vertical upright branches only ??... Just an innocent suggest🙏
My guess Nigel gonna prune this tree quite severe at a later stage but I also believe he want a flatter canopy and not so much upright. We will see 😃
