Looks like great stuff, If I may add a suggetstion, the coco coir dries up really fast, to help with this add some vermiculite to the mixture because it helps retain moisture while perlites adds drainage and airation. that's the only thing else I would add to it, then it will be topshelf seed starter.
@@HomesteadFresh Coco Coir is good stuff, my mom uses it because she over waters really bad and kills things lol, but she is a pro with coco, have a great weekend FAM!!
good looking mixture i don t have any animals so i mix the sawdust from the mill into the raised beds . My wife does all the started plants. I am having some issues with bugs root maggots were real ba ast year on my turnips and carrots i am hoping the parsnips are fine have not dug one yet
@@HomesteadFresh i don t think so i grow all root crops in the ground not raised beds i think it has more to to epa stopping the use of a certain pesticide

Is that due to the sawdust? What causes root maggots? Stinks that that is happening to your veggies.
