See, Kazarina’s Time Warp is an example of what I like to call a Plot Ability: a card that a Bakugan villain pulls out that’s utterly broken, defeats the hero, and is NEVER used again. Examples of this are Trick World by Mylene’s Elico (Automatically drops the enemy Bakugan to 100 Gs and drowned Percival) and Nova Blazer X (Enemy returns to base level; +700 Gs to user) that Spectra used to take Drago away from Dan.
Nova Blazer X is a forbidden ability card, so it makes sense why it was used sparingly. Plus Helios got strong enough from his cyborg upgrades to not need forbidden cards anymore.
@szymonszulc5023 I imagine they might have became forbidden due to public outrage. Like, yeah, forcing intelligent animals to fight is okay, but forbidden cards might (visually at the very least), hurt bakugan who use them. At least that's my headcannon
@froz5551 Well, it might be that battles only injure or bruise or exhaust a bakugan. However, the forbidden cards push bakugan to their absolute limits, which causes immense pain and, possibly, a painful death.
