Hey, can you do a list of mycareer/myrise original characters in WWE games?
For part 2 Adam Cole has an rebuilt entrance named "Thunderous Boom" despite not being in the game.
During a hell in a cell match while playing against the undertaker the lights will cut out and he will appear behind you

There’s also the Easter egg where Brock Lesnar has two different entrances if Brock comes out first he has his normal entrance but if he comes out second he does a circle around the ring staring at whoever he’s facing

Probably my favorite detail so far is that the "local talent" in MyGM mode all have their own specific commentary lines if you spectate or play their matches. That's a surprising level of detail for generic characters you can only use in that one game mode.
Did you notice that one of the local talent people in GM mode is a future DLC, I'm going to enjoy whooping Machine Gun Kelly when the DLC gets released along with Logan Paul, I will make many matches just destroying both of them, there are also a couple other CZcamsrs that are also on the local talent in GM mode
Ironically that's an Easter egg that this person didn't even cover in this video
I had the same thought. Their still images in GM mode don't match their in game character models at all though. I also found that funny.
@@pygopygo7751 That's mostly because, from what I understand, they bought a bunch of stock photos that looked interesting and then made CAWs based off them. Which is honestly pretty clever and certainly more memorable than "generic white guy in singlet #35".

The Drew Vs. Roman commentary makes the gameplay feel authentic as hell.
They do for a lot of superstars that has history together. It’s actually pretty cool

@@maineventmafia1633 I’m impressed this year even by commentary on random superstars with no history. They’ve gotten better at fitting comments together well. I’ve heard things like “Tozawa looks primed and ready to go against his competition here tonight “ “Yeah, but don’t forget he’s standing across the ring from Kane and putting the devils favorite demon down for a three count is easier said than done “.

I spectated a match with Big E in the NXT arena, and Graves mentioned Big E's old NXT gimmick during the entrance. Not sure if that was arena-specific, though.
One you missed: if you play Austin vs Scott Hall and he stuns Hall Hall takes it like he did at WrestleMania X8.

Another detail is that the old Dolph has unique commentary where the commentators acknowledge they don’t know him and made things up
If you attempt to submit the Untertaker they talk about how he's never been tapped out via submission and that you'd be the first
Also with Bobby Lashley if you enter without MVP it will be the titan theme but with MVP you get the hurt business theme
This reminds me of the deep gameplay easter eggs that were in No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000.
You had to essentially have the perfect flow to a match for certain things to be said, or for certain signature moments to happen. Good times.
There wasn’t any commentary on the N64 games. The only storylines were in championship modes and were linearly scripted depending on win/lose pathways.

I’ve been playing the game bro but there’s a problem it seems every lobby they have the entrance off and you cannot seem to turn it on I tried making my own lobby and put the entrance on but there’s no option for it
goes to show what the devs can do if you give them time to develop a game.

Does anyone else get major Wrestlemania XIX for the gamecube vibes from the backstage area? I spent hours on XIX back in the day and this feels and functions just like that but without the fun beat corrupt vince feel.
Eddie unmasks Rey but the player doesn't get to see Rey's unmasked head. Most people that saw Rey in WCW will have see Rey's unmasked head.
It's a pretty huge deal for Lucha's masks to be removed. It's considered disrespectful to see them unmasked. It's why if Rey mysterio is being Rey Mysterio, even in public, he will be wearing the mask. Chances are he didn't remove the mask for the game devs. so they probably don't know how he looks.
@@Lazumaus true but he was already unmasked later on in WCW so they could have just gone off of that and it would have been accurate

Lucha rules state that if a mask is removed the opponent is instantly disqualified, with that stipulation in that match, it made sense that you never get to see Rey's face. I mean...more recently look at what has happened when Fuego Del Sol/ Penta El Zero Miedo/Rey Fenix Jr got unmasked on AEW, they immediately covered their face (so that the crowd does not get to see them) in homage to Lucha history.
The level of detail they put into this game is amazing.

I'm liking the game but I wish there was a way to change the controls back to what they were before. These new ones are super complicated.
you'll get used to em after a while they just take a bit of practice to master
I used to feel the same way but I after I finished playing my first few matches, I very quickly adapted to the new controls. They're way easier than you think trust me man

If it’s like 2K19, there’s a story that plays out, and then you can keep going after that, for as long as you want.

I have not found an ending, playing the female side. I only seem to have the most generic missions left.
These modern age wwe games need the speed of the PS1 ones and the background music. Imagine what could this game have been if done that. Perfect game.
Hard pass. Jumping from N64’s No Mercy to PS1’s Smackdown I was disappointed. Felt like a cheap arcade game with how fast and cheesy it was.
I'm not sure if it's new but I know there's special commentary for the rock and cena at wrestlemania...

Eddie couldn't have unmasked Rey like that because the mask was a one piece attached to the top portion of the costume so he would literally had to tear it off or Rey would have had to take off the entire top portion of the costume

Wow, I do not recognize 2K this time. They really pulled of a great game this year. With good attention to detail (not amazing beacuse we're f.e. missing titantrons in 2011 era, but on the other hand there is extra Eddie's win animation for first match in 2K Showcase, so ...impressive ngl)

The only thing i hate about this game is the sounds they make while doing moves.
Apart from all the limitations in gm mode and superstar universe mode.
It sounds weird while they're in the performance center or backstage and there's no crowd but it's a lot more natural when there's crowd noise
