I think I starting to understand a bit more of what is going on here. At 0:19 I think you somehow escaped the place as the "hour of joy" happen it why you're looking back. How it seems as it shifts through this "dream" I think is his time there within the factor where he has been and what he was doing. I am guessing that at 2:29 is when the "hour of joy" came about in the fact you are recalling the alarm and screams. It seems that you where there as it happen and somehow escaped from it which to tell the truth I think be worse than dying.
Think about it everyone you knew and worked with is getting ripped apart or even eaten. You have two choices stay and try and help get more people out or leave and have a better chance of living. And I think the main character did just that escaped yet I could only imagine how screwed up your life would be afterwards. There is another question is he or her the only ones to get out of there alive? Or were there more than one and they just went into hiding there is still a lot of questions.
There were 2 other people who survived the hour of joy and those people were Us (The player) and Leith Pierre. It was stated that Leith Pierre had a really secure hiding spot and managed to survive the hour of joy. There are no regards as to what happened to Leith Pierre after the hour of joy but as we know he probably escaped. As for the player, he felt really sick on the day the hour of joy happened and didn't' show up to work. When he came back the next day, there were military trucks outside and every employee had vanished. That's why he had no idea what happened to his co-workers. As for the dream he had where the alarm was going off during the hour of joy. I believe CatNap put that hallucination in his head as he seems to able to use the Red Smoke to put images in the minds of others. As for the message the player got, I believe the prototype wrote the letter because as we know, the prototype possesses an extreme amount of intelligence unlike the other toys meaning that he probably knows how to read, write and talk. He also can be heard on a radio asking the player why they weren't there for the hour of joy. There's still a lot to debunk but this is the majority of the lore.
In the end I hear a alarm and ollie calling us and people screaming it's like telling us about the hour of joy
What does Huggy Wuggy have to do with this? he showing up alot, even in the dream. But every employee was killed in the Hour of Joy. There couldnt of been an escapee, unless it was a toy
I feel like we have some personal connection with Huggy, one that will be revealed in chapter 4
