I had forgotten all about these units, what a blast from the past. This was an enjoyable video, I did appreciate the effort with covering over the fast forward noises with the MC505 beats.

In my quest to fix a JP-8080, also noticed a few Roland products from the same era used KW1AA265 for power. Picked up a broken VS-840 for parts mainly for backup purposes.

Great video! Really helpful! But.. i'm missing a "How to fix a button" like the ENTER for example ;)
Once the front panel is out it is quite easy to replace a button, they don not seem to be special
