AHI is Aamna Haider Isani and will bring to you the life, style and soul of my life.
The word AHI may be the acronym of my name, but it independently stands for a species of Hawaiian Tuna. Ahi is an apt name for me. As a Piscean, fish is my symbol and water my element.
But this channel isn't about astronomy. l'll be tapping into my 20-year career as a fashion journalist to cover fashion as a source of self-expression and body positivity. We'll have a little bit of fun in shows like Fashion Fortnightly. I'll be connecting with fashionable creatures in Meet the Muse and reviewing fun, new products in the short FIR - First Impression Review. Aamna 101 will take you into my life while The AHI Icon will bring you an exceptional person, whose story inspires.

Tabish i believe as a stylist you should know if the dress will look good on ur client or No .. can she carry it gracefully or no. i think thats why people need stylist to help them as they are not good at it
Ayeza khan's was by far the worst look. The choli was such a weird length. A better option was to convert the lehnga choli to a pishwaas rather than that awkward length. I once was at a designer to select outfits for my cousin's mehndi. I really liked a lehnga/choli but i don't show my stomach and also avoid sleeveless so the designer turned it into a BEAUTIFUL pishwas. I wore that pishwas so many times. Friends even borrowed it from me and one even had a replica made. Being modest does not equate to being frumpy. Surprised that with all the money and designers at her disposal, why Ayeza went for this. I know she's trying to launch her younger brother as a stylist but this look didn't do him or his portfolio any favors

@@ambermalik3146 it was actually even worse than shadi look. the weird sleek back hari with the diamontes and the cape type dupatta. I mean what even? kuch ajeeb khusra type look thee (sorry i know that's an offensive word, I meant to say it was neither formal, nor casual, neither desi, nor western. It wasn't even fusion. Totally weird.)
@@sarat8577 ikr and it’s because she was insecure and uncomfortable because she wanted to stand out of the crowd as usual. She also didn’t go to the red carpet like the rest of the actors which was a bit of a weird thing to do.
Ayeza dress was basically lehanga where back and stomach are shown in dress but designer coverd it just because she can not show her skin. That's why dress looks worse otherwise lehanga looks awesome
And that dupatta wearing as a cape was too off
I agree with Tabish these stars are representing us globally so they need to up their game, and dress aptly and be confident in that!!! Ayeza was the biggest disaster though!!

I think Tabish is a bit hypocritical because he isn't admitting his mistake for styling Saboor poorly but blames stylists when other artists don't carry a dress well. He should assume responsibility for not doing his job well. It's not a big deal and everyone makes mistakes but he is being immature by not acknowledging it.
Mahira khan itni bari star hein but she plays soooo safe. She repeated her performance dress 3x. Hania nai toh colour change bhi nahi kia apne performance ka. They both played safe.
Ayeza is by far the best dressed when it comes to dramas and is known to add a unique touch to each of her characters which sets her apart as an actress in my opinion. If I look at her look from any drama I’ll immediately know which one it is because it’s so different than her other dramas. She had curly hair with classic shalwar kameez in chaudhry and sons. And in chupke chupke she had kurtis with jeans and hair accessories and lots of bracelets. In Meray Paas Tum Ho she wore mature simple outfits to represent a middle class woman. And then when she moves in with shahwar there’s an elevation in her style with an expensive touch. In pyarey Afzal she wore bold print shalwars with shorter kameezs. In mohabbat tumse nafrat hai she wore ghararas with kurtis and then after a time skip wears more typical, mature outfits. Even in her Instagram posts she has a wonderful sense of style especially at birthdays and for Eid where sometimes her whole family is coordinated. The point is, she knows her style and does it well but for some reason did horribly here. Don’t get me wrong, the outfit itself is beautiful and I don’t even care that it’s more of a shaadi outfit. It’s just that blouse/choli and its weird cut and the decision to drape the dupatta like a cape. I feel like she should’ve opted for something that was already more modest and didn’t need altering because that ruined the outfit. It was clear that she was uncomfortable with showing her midriff and arms which I wholeheartedly respect but she should’ve opted for something that was meant to be styled that way.

Wow you guys are back with a bang, loved the pop ups....had so much fun watching this episode, I am from Ontario and was there at the event. I wish you were there to see how uncomfortable Aimen Saleem and Saboor were with their outfits, it was really weird.

The 2 of you are a treat to watch, but one thing annoys me so much. The fact that you are not sure of what people are wearing and still commenting on that, for example with Urwa you weren’t sure if she was wearing a garara or paswas (I’m probably not spelling it right) and with Imran ashraf you guys kept on saying Gucci belt when it was not. You are her to discuss the looks right, you should be 100% of what people are wearing to be giving your opinion. With that being said you guys are so much fun to watch, keep going!

I like people who stick to their own style. I'm very traditional and wear desi Indian salwar kameez, bt I change bottom and kameez as per weather and match with trend. I look so unique in the crowd . People know that I'll wear something different and that will be my style. I'll nt copy someone else and wear a gown or figure hugging dress bcoz I know i can't carry it.and trust me, it took me years to understand. From last 5 year I realized I'm comfortable in dupatta wala salwar kameez and I mix and match things according to place season and event. Plus day and night and I'm good to go. Even i work in a MNC and that too on big post bt for my workwear also i stick to my own style. It takes time and energy to search the fabric, get it stiched as the tailors are so busy and their tantrums also. Still...

Ayeza tried too hard to look different and she’s insecure too and wanted to look the best and that’s why she ruined her look. Her makeup wasn’t on point too. Mahira and Reema looked the best because they’re confident and know how to carry themselves.
Iqra's and Aymen's looks were my favourites 😍 even Sonya looked so pretty. I'm surprised you didn't love their outfits. Whereas Reema's outfit was so simple and not at all red carpet worthy but you both praised it.

I think overall they looked good, especially the women, they were all in great shape, very toned and fit and on the red carpet that is equally important. My cousins saw and met these celebs on the red carpet up close and they all said that they are all beautiful women up close, besides the clothes, hair and makeup. So a big round of applause for them 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 sorry disagree with the Reema look, i was told she looked graceful and beautiful, but the clothes were frumpy in real

wth Reema's outfit wasn't worth the wow yaar. it was very simple and forgettable. totally didn't get the hype
All the celebs played it safe. Mahira, Ushana and Saboor's outfits were good but Ushna and Saboor couldn't carry the outfits properly and Mahira just wore the same thing but in different colour. Ayeza was a big disappointment! The guys were in velvet suits mostly, they were on point but they could've experimented a bit. Atif was looking cool, he had his whole rockstar vibe going on. I liked his overall look from his hair, to the earpieces and outfit.

My two cents on hum awards, first saboor looked really nice in her shoot pics, which im sure tabish styled her n she carried the outfit as it was meant to be, bt in Canada she didn’t get tht help n also tried to cover her shoulder so she just wrapped around tht dresses. Second u guys mentioned saboor n ushna for not being able yo carry their dresses well, bt Mahira did the same wen she was interacting wid the crowd upon arrival, should’ve mentioned her as well.
