Frankly disappointed with both of you for not being frank and being honest about sajjal. She is a great actor but that red carpet look was disastrous. Both of you could have been more frank and honest.

While I wouldn't choose such harsh words but my sentiments on their thoughts are the same. Have they completely lost it? These events are when it matters the most. This is the same as our cricket team messing up every final and semi final and then we say it doesn't matter, at least we made it this far. When it's your time to damn shine, we just settle for being mediocre af! What a bizarre mindset to have. Imo, no representation is better than mediocre representation especially in these international events. I remember there was another actress who had attended such an international platform and completely botched her look up and it was the same feedback given by them, "it doesn't matter" lol like what even? "WTF" is the only words i thought of after seeing this look, there was no pride in seeing her at the red carpet.

I especially did not expect this 'diplomacy' from Tabish who is usually so refreshingly blunt :) I honestly didn't think that Sajal Ali was looking bad but talk about it. Atleast Aamna summed it up saying she wasn't a fan

Hi Aamna, I’ve been a SH and AHI loyalist from the beginning and please consider this as my honest feedback. I’m somewhat disappointed with today’s episode. I understand Sajal going global is huge but she was dressed terribly and I expect you to call it out. It’s not the same as calling her out for her acting or personality, both of which I’m sure are amazing. I’m not a Pakistani but I felt uncomfortable when cricketers were being discussed. They are amazing sportsmen and should be celebrated for their achievements. I understand this section didn’t aim to diss their achievements in any way, and the idea was to provide a constructive feedback to help them look more stylish. While the intention behind it is great, I still believe cricketers’ looks shouldn’t be commented on and the only thing speaking for them should be their game.

I am quite astonished at people criticizing their review on Sajal's look. They basically did criticise her look, but ever so sensitively due to the gravitas of her achievement. I clearly remember Amma refraining from criticizing on the looks of Pakistani actors at Cannes this year. There is a decency in criticizing someone's look who has achieved immensely in their quality as an actor, their primal job. So from my side, well done both of you and thank you for this amazingly entertaining video.

Our cricketers need grooming overall…not just styling in terms of clothes or haircuts, yes focus on game but other aspects of global represenatation of our country are also important. In the past, cricketers like Imran Khan, Wasim akram, ramiz raja were really well-spoken and confident. But these days, international media makes fun of our cricketers for not being able to handle questions well, not saying that they should speak english but overall mannerism, confidence and ability to tackle trickier questions should be worked on!
When it comes to sajal, i agree with watever everyone else says, sajal looks really nice in local events and awards but God knows what happens to our celebrities when they go international… sajal’s look was atrocious but no one else has looked nice either in the recent events, be it joyland cast, ms.marvel red carpet and others… also Aamna and Tabish… if you discounted Sajal for talent then you should have discounted cricketers for talent and performance too but you did not, wondering why?!!

You are fashion critics for a reason. Sajal's style sense is horrible generally too. She doesn't experiment and looks the same. All her international events have been disasters. Please criticize her so that she hires a proper stylist.

I absolutely agree with both of you guys!! Sajal Aly is an amazing artist and overall an amazing person. And because of her hardwork and talent she is there. I feel sad people trolling her for the look and outfit I mean so much of negativity they can't process the fact that she is representing Pakistan. Guys while I understand why you guys went easy on Sajal Aly and Joyland team's Cannes fashion disaster that being said you guys could have added what she could have done better/change so she does not make another fashion faux pas on international platform. You guys can provide tips to actors on what kind of styles/fabric/makeup they should opt for when representing Pakistan on international platforms. When a Pakistani makes us proud internationally - similarly seeing them killing it with their fashion game on a prestigious platform makes us even more excited.

Agree with the 'Afreen' on Naseen Shah. He is kinda adorable. LOL on the comment on Parineeti's outfit. Also the outfits giving Burlesque/Belly Dancing vibes is so on point. I read some where (think the book 'French women don't get fat') that you should either show leg or cleavage, not both at the same time. I am ok with Sajjal Ali's experiment with the Desi fusion n goth makeup. A gown or saree would be safe n kinda boring to be honest. The Tilda Swindons n Evan Rachael Woods are always more interesting than the Jennifer Anistons on the red carpet (even though the experiments go wrong sometime). Love this show. Keep up the great work.
