🎉POLL TIME! 🎉Do you hope to go salmon fishing in Alaska one day? Why or why not?
Who knows.🤷♂️ I love fishing but rather prefer it on small mountain brooks.
Yes, both settings have their pros and cons for sure!@@alfredodejuan390
I’ve done Salmon fishing with my Dad in which Cora you know him. The Milwaukee River has good fishing for the Salmon run
It has been my bucket list trip of a lifetime to spend a month or so camping and fishing my way all the way through British Columbia , into alaska then into the northwest territories in BC and back down home experiencing all the fishing salmon, barn door halibut, monster lings and rockfish and in freshwater arctic grayling burbot pike and walleye
Got to do a little bit in Tutka Bay but I'd love another chance in the Kenai!
Always a good day when there's a new Art We There Yet? video 🤙
Oh that is awesome. Thank you 🤙
Beautifully filmed and told story!
Thank you!!
This is high quality work guys! thank you!

Thank you for another great video...wonderful content and amazing videography. I will be in Alaska once again next Summer to enjoy the wild and incredible scenery.
Hey Bob! 👋 So happy you liked the latest episode! Hey when you’re in Alaska next summer, keep you’re eye out for a colorful bus! We’ll be around 😊
Love your videos! Please keep up the good work
Thank you! That is so kind!
We're glad to see the new video. Love fishing. Thanks for bringing this into our home 💖
So happy you enjoyed it!
Great video! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
It is wonderful to see you both enjoying our state. I'm moved here from Michigan in 1994 and I have been here ever since. I raised my family in Kenai and now live on a high mountain river in Eagle River, Alaska. When I lived in Kenai I was the Personal Use Chair (Dipnet) on the Kenai Fish and Game Advisory Committee. If you're back in Alaska, I'll take you out on my Drift Boat on the Upper Kenai River. Or just stop by and see our beautiful home in the Chugach Mountains, just 20 minutes from downtown Anchorage.
Hey Philip! Thanks for reaching out to introduce yourself. Sounds like you caught the Alaska bug yourself, back in 1994 😊
We’re actually still in AK - in the Southeast right now filming a few episodes here. Then down to Seward one more time, then off to the Dalton Highway, and then all south from there! So if you see a colorful bus on the road, give us a wave! 👋
@ArtWeThereYet South East is hard to see from a bus. 😄 In Sitka, there is an AirBnB on a WW2 Tugboat called the Adak floating on in the Harbor. The owner is a renowned writer named Brendan. He was an awesome host and staying on the boat was such a wonderful and unique experience. Brendan loaned me a fishing pole and I caught a 30 pound King Salmon of the stern. Also there is the Rapter Rehabilitation Center and the Fortrace of the Bear to visit. When my daughter and I stayed there, we couldn't rent a car... so Brendan, let me use his personal vehicle! There is also a fun lake in town that has a swimming dock.

So happy you enjoyed the episode! We actually will be in the area through July-ish, though a good portion of that will be driving north on the top of the world highway!
