- On 2b2t.org, Minecraft's most infamous anarchy server; I explore the End and it's ice highway with ring road that's 10,000 by 10,000.
The End Ice Highway goes out from each of the four cardinal directions of the End spawn until it joins with the ice ring road that's 5,000 out. Some parts of the ice highway extend out to 50,000!

The ice highways in the end were made by a player named 1i_ and back in December of 2017, I encountered him on the ice highway creating the highway with a redstone machine with frostwalker boots. He needed help so I stuck around and helped him out. I have not seen him online in a long time but he was a cool dude, He was always at the top of the TAB player list when he was online.
Could have sworn his name was A1_ tho, but either way, its nice to see something I helped out a bit with being featured on this channel.

I think what he means (I could be wrong) is that roads and transportation is one of the fundamental features of land that a government would establish. It's ironic.

I haven't been playing Minecraft actively for years yet I started watching Minecraft videos again and I cannot help myself but just enjoy them so much. Minecraft is simply the best game ever

Watching 2b videos is like watching documentaries on third world countries. It's very interesting to see how things work there, but i'd rather stay on my cozy server. 😂

I gave it a shot myself, and honestly the most difficult obstacle is just the wait to get on the server. And, uh, the awful chat--a never-ending wave of chatbots and people saying the most offensive things they can think of just 'cause they can. I was expecting that though, so it was doable.
When you do manage to get on the server, i kinda feel like the best play is just.. relax. ignore the hype, and take your time to soak in what spawn is like--gawk at the ruins, keep a post-it note with how many swastikas you've seen, take screenshots of oddities. Because the thing every video of 2b i've seen has failed to mention is that new players have one HUGE advantage over seasoned veterans: newbies have nothing to lose!
oh no, you trapped me in a nether portal and i died, now i'll never be able to get back the four blocks of dirt and pile of gravel i was holding; the _horror_
Seasoned players can't venture into spawn without being up to their eyeballs in enchanted gear, but shit man, i got through fine with just those patches of dirt, so i dunno what the big fuss is about
(i understand that this is probably the fact that i'm okay with making very slow progress in video games and am not interested in survival so much as i am interested in exploring and talking to people, so i do get why escaping spawn is a coveted achievement--i don't mean to belittle anybody who had a lot of trouble with it and was proud to get out alive)
(keep in mind you're talking to the person who's not planning on making weapons because i'd rather just look around and leave cool things for people to find)

His client can only download the chunks he goes in himself, so he only downloaded a very small portion of the 4TB world.
no the whole thing lol, just the areas he was walking. that's why he didn't use speed hacks because live downloading a world is really laggy.

If youre gonna join the server. And use a boat to travel the End Highway. It will be most likely to crash the server because of new chunks being loaded a the same times.

I wish I could be a part of a community like 2b2t. Although people have differences, from what has been shared to me, everyone is just one big dysfunctional family, and I wish I could be a part of that. I’ve never really had much luck with online friends but I don’t think there’s any game better then Minecraft for bringing people together. If I were just a bit older, I could’ve been able to join while this server was still young and, maybe, I’d be a part of this family. I’d join now, but I wouldn’t want to intrude where I’m not wanted. You should go full render distance because I want to see everything. I don't care for authenticity, atmosphere or w/e. You're recording history and I think we should have the complete view.
Game would run at 2 FPS
The world downloader is based on how many chunks you're rendering while downloading, (your render distance) but on 2b you.would crash out at higher than 5 chunk render dist so that's the best download you can p much get in this case
Can you find touragdude's Death Star. Said it was 100k from spawn but I have no clue where it is. Someone blew it up.

I love this series. I brings me so much nostalgia from the old survival servers I would play on every weekend, and the realm that my friend made, where we would make "armies" with a hole ton of mobs. We would build cities and then "go to war" which basically meant blowing up everything they built with TNT. I wish Minecraft was still popular, it seems like everybody moved on to Fortnite. I'm glad I am growing up with something 10x better than Fortnite. Thanks for this wonderful series.

These are so laggy, frost walker ice checks adjacent blocks so this highway is just one big chunk loader.

To be honest this is kinda sad to see forgotten structures like these people made years ago when they were in their teens now these ppl prob are either adults in college or something or either they are dead or just really old people
The sad part is that these structures were forgotten, discontinued never remembered and some just stand there where no players could ever see never even THIS guys and the creators will never remember the things they made and how fun they had with their friends
