This gives me such sad vibes. Somewhere in the end there's a man, alone, in this beautiful base that took him months to build. He could return, but at the expense of losing everything hes built, so he chooses not to.

Plus so much of the ingenuity of this place eliminates Barron's need to actively be in this place; a lot of these farms were designed to automatically generate their bounty so that he needs to spend _less_ time in this palace he spent so long crafting.
Then there's the animals.. granted, every minecraft mob farm i've seen uncomfortably reminds me of real-world animal living conditions, so i'm bias on this front.. But with this particular place, seeing the chickens and pigs crammed together in a cell, their master casually remarking that sometimes the crowding kills one of them, knowing that they spend their months in a featureless room on hard stone in a dimension where ice never melts...
...'s a bit of a downer, ya know?
Maybe it's fitting that, in the End, even somebody this skilled and this powerful can't truly end anything

Scott M Just AFK overnight, tps is fine and if you know the coords of the base is not hard to do, even if you have shit tps there are older, slower airships which beat it.

Scott M The guy who made the base does. He was saying he doesn't want to log in because if he dies he can never go back, even though he could, but it would take a while. If coords leaked, the base definitely isn't "grief proof".

Coral a while back there was an exploit involving the fact that no matter what seed you generated the pattern of bedrock was always the same, people used this to stream snipe and grief bases on 2b2t, then it kind of just turned into a joke where if a streamer showed bedrock on stream everyone would say “you showed bedrock, see you soon” and then it kind of turned into a joke where people would show anything out of the ordinary on stream and people would be like: “I recognize that pumpkin, be careful of any knocks on your door IRL”

Sunflowers always face East. At 8:21 a sunflower can be seen facing to the right, almost parallel with the block it rests upon. Therefore, your base is somewhere along the East-West axis.

Jokes aside their is a chunk tracer hack where you can follow loaded chunks , it seems like no bases are safe .
its really hard to use to trace peoples chunks. I mainly use it to determine an unexplored number of chunks i can build on. also you need to pack a lot of fireworks and have elytra with mending to even travel that far from end spawn. If you want a base in overworld you should travel in nether and overworld after you exit the nether highway at least a fee million overworld blocks away, then proceed to build with only a few in real life friends to ensure safety. most bases are grieffed because of the crappy paths people chose and leave a lot of nether highway paths.
Salc1 made a video on how to hide ur base on 2b2t and he mentioned how you can trick people using this hack.

well, Ilmango already showed 1.13 designs where quick-shifting pistons lowered the light levels to break the crops.

but I really couldn't care myself bc I live underground (in an unspecified dimension) in a biodome of a overworld surface, untouched by chaos, perfect and round, and beneath the surface of the underground biodome I reside... farming and fishing away my days... calmly and pleasantly creating a utopia untouched for five years... except that one time some guy who doesn't even play anymore found me and undid his pathway there because he liked what I was doing
They can just use a hack to see chests furnaces and echests + new chunks to find you

For the dirt that is tilled, you need water for sure within 4 blocks in any direction. Possibly a light source as well.

Could afk in a flying machine if you ever wanted to leave. Would take much longer than flying I know, and you would want a glitch proof one as to not fall in the void. Just an idea.

Take a world download, show the natural terrain & wait and see if anyone shows up. That's kinda what I'm doing on 2b2t right now. I log in every month or so to see if anyone has found my fortress or lair and griefed it and/or left a sign. (And if they are destroyed I'm unlikely to rebuild again.)
