@Marduk Sensei Askren is perfectly capable of backing it up. Masvidal had a smart game plan he gambled on, and it paid off big. If the fight hadn't ended with the first strike, it's not like Masvidal would've been fighting a one-sided fight against a helpless Askren. Askren talks shit, that's part of his appeal. Masvidal humbled him, and he took it like a man. Like I said, no reason to stop liking the guy.

Funny because boxing is still destroying MMA in PPV numbers, there's loads of big fights lined up in boxing that fans are excited about, MMA fans are all talking about boxing but boxing fans aren't bothered about MMA and the biggest fight possible in MMA (Jones vs Ngannou) isn't happening because the UFC won't pay Jones and MMA fans act like different titles is a problem in boxing but ignore the fact that one of the guys fighting for 155lbs title got battered in a round by a champion from a different promotion and that in boxing you actually get unification fights!
